4 1/4 inch is the diameter of the cup that I use. It only needs to be tilted a little to fit under the spout. About 3/4 of the way full, this cup. There doesn't appear to be a way to control how much coffee is dispensed.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes K Cups are never used in my house. My preferred method of coffee preparation is to make my own. Mixpresso is a fantastic coffee. The coffee comes out hot and delicious and is small, attractive, and simple to use. Better-tasting coffee than the previous Keurig, in my opinion. When the coffee is ready, it switches off. It's not fancy, doesn't have a lot of options, etc., which is exactly why I bought it. I'm in need of a new coffee pot as well, and while there are less expensive options available, including Mixpreso's single cup with coffee mug, I'll stick with this one. And, yes, you are welcome to bring your own reusable cups. ~DM
With the lid open, it's probably about 4" wide, 11" deep, and 12" high. PROBLEM: After three days of use, the switch failed, prompting me to write this review.

I am pleased with my purchase, but I would like to address some of the other reviews that almost convinced me not to purchase this k-cup. brewer for one cup: 1) "It's difficult to fill up. " br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br " This is unrelated to this k- brewer for a cup You'll be sorely disappointed if you try to use your coffee mug as a precise water pouring device. If you try to aim water out of a coffee mug, YES, it WILL go everywhere. The reason for this is that a coffee mug does not have a pouring lip. Duh. Solution: PROBLEM SOLVED because we keep a Pyrex measuring cup near the coffee mugs. There are no spills when filling with water. br>br>2) Next, I believe a large number of reviewers were dissatisfied with the quantity of coffee produced. It brews ten ounces, which is slightly less than a 12-ounce soda can. Before ordering your machine, pour that amount of liquid into your coffee cup to see if you'll have enough coffee. To demonstrate, I took a picture of a full brew in my mug. It worked out fine for us, but I'm sure many Starbucks grande and venti drinkers would be disappointed. FYI- 12 OUNCES is the size of a Starbucks 'tall' (SMALL). br>br>3) Bad flavor: YES, ours smelled and tasted metallic right out of the package. When I got my brewer, I ran 6 cycles of water through it after reading all the reviews, and then brewed the first k-cup. cup. The coffee was extremely bitter and unsuitable for drinking. The booklet's "descaling" instructions were then read. (Fill with white vinegar and start the brewing process without a k-cup. ) cup. When the machine begins to brew, turn it off and wait 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, restart the machine to force the vinegar out, then run water through it (no k-factor). cup) for 6 people 10 times. I did it until there was no more vinegar in my nose). It was a cinch to use. The flavor of coffee is fantastic. Please click the "Helpful" button if this was of assistance to you. Thanks!.
I've never owned a single cup coffee maker before. The 3 minute Bunn has always been my go-to method. However, my schedule has changed, and I no longer make large amounts of coffee at home. As a result, I began reading reviews on which unit to purchase, as everyone does. I didn't want to pay for the more expensive models, but I also didn't want something that would only last a month. This model piqued my interest, and I decided to give it a shot. It was incredibly simple to use (I'd never used one before). Quick instructions are printed on the lid, and there is also a paper manual included. I've had no problems with any of the K cups I've tried; simply insert your preferred K cup, fill it with water (about a cup), and press the button. When the coffee is ready, the unit heats the water and dispenses it automatically. After that, it turns off on its own. I've been using it almost every day for the past two months and have had no problems. For $40. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, which cost me $0. 00. I'm hoping I'll be able to use it for many years. The one thing you must remember, and it may seem obvious, is to place a cup under the unit before starting each time. The first time I forgot, I spilled coffee all over my kitchen island. It's entirely my fault and has nothing to do with the quality of the product. Prior to using it, I ran it through a cycle of white vinegar. I didn't get a "plastic" taste like some other reviewers. I believe that doing so before using is a good idea. This coffee maker comes highly recommended by me to anyone looking for a low-cost one-cup machine. UPDATE: The 21st of July, 2019 After 9 months of daily use, the coffee maker is still going strong. It makes a good cup of coffee. Simple to work with. I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a low-cost single-cup machine. It's now February 2021, and it's still going strong!.
My hands are weakening due to a medical condition, and I am unable to use the larger coffee pot that I own. K- had been mentioned to me. I was looking for a model of cup coffee pots and came across this one. On my counter, this machine occupies very little space. I brewed a few cups of coffee today after receiving the machine, and it has so far performed admirably, with the coffee coming out extremely hot. The Dunkin' Donuts K-cup was what I was using. The coffee was delicious and came in cups from a nearby store.
It's well-designed and well-made (made in Italy). Pour 10 ounces of water through the filter opening, which is tapered nicely for the water, insert the pod, and wait about 2 minutes for good clean hot coffee. I was fed up with the moldy smell of the Keruig maker's water tank, no matter how many times I washed it. This eliminates the need for a reservoir tank, which is exactly what I was looking for. Another thing that impressed me was that this was my second coffee maker; the first, from another manufacturer, was made in China and the plastic had a strong odor that left a strange taste in our coffee even after numerous clear cycles and a few coffee brews. Although the Mixpresso does not recommend clear water cycles for flushing, I did so anyway because there was no foul odor. That was impressive in terms of dependability. I'm not sure, but for a low-cost coffee maker, the functionality and design are excellent.
This little guy is far superior to my Keurig! It's the ideal size, mostly silent, and ideal for the morning rush. I wish it held a little more water, but other than that, it's perfect.
Because of its size, it is an ideal "take along" for travel. br>I've also been keeping it by my bedside for mornings when I want a cup of coffee but don't want to get out of bed. LOL! br>I've also used it to make Chamomile tea in the evening before going to bed. br>It was a fantastic purchase, and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
I've always had a traditional drip coffee maker in the RV, but I prefer a Keurig type machine, so I needed something that wouldn't take up too much room, was simple to use, and made a great cup of coffee. The Mixpresso is a one-stop shop for all your coffee needs. My purchase has pleased me greatly.
