This was purchased for my wife's office, and she absolutely adores it. We recently went on a week-long beach vacation and decided to take it with us. It worked perfectly and was far superior to relying on the hotel room's coffeemaker. I've had a lot more fun with it than I anticipated. Also, I wasn't expecting to be impressed by the quality of the coffee it produces, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it produces excellent coffee.
It was a Christmas present, and I've used it almost every day since then. For example, I don't have to clean up after each use, and I don't have to prepare breakfast when I'm just getting out of bed. I'd like to use re-useable coffee cups because I drink a lot of coffee. It's possible to reduce a lot of plastic waste by using a reusable pod, but finding the right one is difficult.
I can't give it a five because I haven't had the opportunity to use it long enough to do so. I like the reservoir and how easy it is to adjust the amount of water depending on the desired strength of the brew.
At All. It's not well made. at all. But I doubt anyone is surprised by that. It's made of a lot of cheap, thin plastic. The main outcome of this is when K- When you close the holder after inserting the pod, you should press down hard enough to puncture the bottom of the pod, allowing the steamed coffee to escape. However, because of the low cost of construction, the plastic parts and mechanism are less durable than the K-series. cup bottom, implying that the K-cup must be manually pressed Push the pod in firmly until it is pierced, at which point you may proceed.
This was intended to replace an 8-year-old Keurig that had reached the end of its useful life. It only makes one size of coffee, and the only reason I gave it four stars is because it is much lighter and less sturdy than the original. The only way to find out is to wait.
