There are 12 cups of coffee made in this pot.
One of the reasons I like my Hamilton Beach Keurig so much is that the water is heated before it passes through the coffee pod, resulting in a very hot cup of coffee. The temperature of the coffee in the cup is just right.
Ours is a 49976, and it performs admirably. The bold option does not fill the cup with as much coffee. Make sure you're filling the small part on the right with water, and switch the settings from carafe to single. If that doesn't work, I'd suggest contacting Hamilton Beach. They've gone out of their way to assist me.

I didn't last a month. I'm disappointed because I used to be a fan of Hamilton Beach. The one-cup feature is the one I use the most, and I followed all of the instructions to the letter. I liked being able to adjust the water temperature as well as the amount of coffee grounds in order to achieve the "Perfect Cup. " (I'm not going to be able to get there with the pre-arranged transportation. ) K-packaged Cups and cup volume presets on the Keurig Machine. ) However, despite cleaning the needle exactly as the troubleshooting manual section instructed, the needle on this machine began stopping up repeatedly. I attempted to use K- Coffee is served in cups rather than ground. So, the same result. If this is the only way to get a cup of coffee, I figured I'd better get used to it. A LOT of time was spent tinkering and K-points were squandered. Cups. Maybe mine was just one of those lemons that appear on the assembly line from time to time. However, I received an expensive $10 machine experience for an $80 price tag. Before I buy another Hamilton Beach coffee machine, it may be a long cold day in a hot place.
Why am I awarding five stars to this? We bought this pot to replace an older Hamilton Beach coffee pot with K-cups, and we are very pleased with it. Cup feature that worked for a few years before failing. The K-Pot has been in use for two months and is still going strong. The pot's cup side failed as well. We couldn't get the error message off the display, but the regular pot side of the maker kept working fine. I tried to file a claim because I had also purchased the extended warranty, but their website said "Good news! "Your pot is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty," they say. After hearing the long wait time at the Hamilton Beach 800 number, I decided to take a different path. When I read some of the Amazon reviews for this pot, I noticed that Hamilton Beach was contacting customers who were having issues and providing a different phone number and email address. I sent them an email informing them of K-'s situation. Cup side of the pot, what corrective measures we tried, and who we sought assistance from. They requested the series number as well as our shipping address the next business day. UPS delivered our new pot a few days later, and we were back in business. Clearly, there was a flaw in one of the production runs, and they were quick to fix it with minimal fuss. Everyone should strive for this level of customer service!.
NOPE! I've followed the directions to a tee and every time I do, I end up with coffee grounds in my cup. Not just a smidgeon, but the entire K cup. I was disappointed because I ordered this for an upcoming surgery in which I will not be able to consume caffeine, but my husband will. It seemed like the ideal way to avoid having two coffee pots on the counter. What a hunk of flesh.
This coffee and kcup maker combination is fantastic! Because there is no still water in the machine, it is extremely sanitary and free of bacteria buildup, which is a common problem with kcup machines. I don't mind the two-hour program because I prefer to drink my coffee hot and usually finish it in that time; a full pot of coffee takes 11 minutes to make, which isn't bad, and the kcup portion takes about 4 minutes. The kcup produces exactly the amount of water that I put in, and it's extremely hot. You can either make your own coffee or use a kcup for the single cup. Cleaning and using the single cup is a breeze. That concludes the benefits of my coffee machine; now for the drawbacks. When making a pot of coffee, there is no lock switch to stop the coffee from brewing while you grab a cup, as some coffee makers have; instead, it has the standard filter stop when you pull the coffee pot out, but some coffee still spills onto the hot plate. It is difficult to close the lid for the kcup option. You'll need to press down on it harder than usual. Cleaning the pot can be difficult due to the numerous nooks and crannies created by the way the handle is attached to the pot. Aside from that, this is a purchase that is well worth the money. I own a top-of-the-line Kuerig and a brand-new Ninja, and this coffee machine outperforms both. It's definitely worth the money for the price!.
I had an older model of this coffee maker, but the glass carafe was constantly breaking, so I upgraded to the stainless steel version. As a result, this review is only for this model, not the glass carafe model. br>br>I like this designer a lot, but there is one flaw that I can see right now - There is no option to make it warmer. It switches off as soon as the coffee is done brewing. The warmer on the last one I had with the glass carafe stayed on for two hours before turning off. Although it is served in a stainless steel carafe, which keeps it warm, if you prefer your coffee hot, this is not the cup for you. It's a little hot when it comes out, but not so hot that you'll have to blow on the mug or burn your mouth as soon as you take a sip. br>br>The stainless steel carafe is attractive, and the spout is spot on! It pours beautifully, and there are no annoying drips when you remove it from the machine! And, of course, the ability to make k- It also has a separate reservoir for K-cups, which is a nice feature in comparison to the older one. a cup of brew from a big pot Another minor plus for me is that the display on this one isn't so bright that it competes with the night light! This display isn't quite as bright as the previous one, but it's still noticeable. br>br>It's a shame it's only a 10 cup maker instead of a 12, but I was willing to forego 2 cups in order to avoid having to replace any more glass carafes.
