For years, our family dug out all the meat from the crab's various knuckles and small legs with a nutcracker and a chopstick. It will be a difficult task, but we are up to the task. br>As I grew older, I assumed that something more substantial, something that would work better, would have been developed for this purpose by now. It had a large fork and spoon area and appeared to be made of solid, non-bending metal. br>I've used it a couple of times now and am very pleased with my purchase. I purchased a second one as a backup, but I doubt I'll need it. This metal seafood pick is well-made. The spoon can scoop out a lot of meat from hard-to-reach places like the knuckles and small leg areas. br>It's simple to use and maintain. Even when my hands are wet and scummy, I'm able to keep this pick in my grip. What a dynamic duo it is when paired with the Zyliss Seafood Cracker. I can now crack and eat crab like a pro, and I feel like I'm getting my money's worth of crab meat at the end of the day.

I'm a piano tuner who specializes in repairing and tuning pianos. It's for adjusting hammer butt springs, and I use it as a technician. I had another one, but it was stolen along with my tool bag, so this was my replacement. It's fantastic! As a lobster pick, I'm not sure how it works. I don't even like lobster, but when I saw my first one in a kitchen store, I realized it could be used for something else.

I was "four" it when I came across it. For the price displayed, you only get one, not four. Very deceptive!.
