Is that really $19 for a twisted piece of thin coat hanger wire? One for the price of 99? The shipping weight is ten pounds. It doesn't make sense to gain 6 pounds. ?

It's only for one person. The box is slightly thicker than a coat hanger, and it likely weighs more than the fork, but 10. 6 appears to be a bit of a stumbling block. Because we purchased ours over a year ago, I am unable to confirm the weight. Ours is quite sturdy, which we like.

The stainless metal is of excellent quality/thickness, and the length is ideal for relaxing next to a hot fire; the simple design is ideal for low maintenance and knowing that it will not be damaged in the low light surrounding the fire.
