They're the colors you see - a lovely palette of pastel hues; Green, blue, orange, purple, and pink are some of the colors that can be found. They are translucent to a degree. I was pleased with how well this product presented our dessert tray.

Hi - No, they aren't as dark as they appear. They are exactly the same color as the picture. I'd say they're a little more pastel. Even though it's plastic, it almost looks like transparent colored glass.

They could have been a little longer. These were acquired for use in our teflon-coated pans. Because the metal forks that came with the pot will destroy it, use a coated fondue pot. br>br>These are fairly effective and do not harm the teflon. We also like the fact that the colors are mixed, so everyone gets a different one. We would like them to be an inch longer, but that is a minor quibble.

The 2 prong picks are a great size and bright color, but they are flexible and likely to break if too much pressure or weight is applied, so they are best for smaller or lighter appetizers.
