No, not at all. There is, however, a 5" serrated in the Blackwood line, the Wusthof 4926. If you want to order this knife from us, please let us know.
Handle is made of polyoxymethylene (POM) and has a traditional look and feel to it, with our red Trident logo on it.
The red trident was present on the one I received. By the way, that is a fantastic knife!
Professional knife sharpening is required for serrated knives. In your area, find a professional knife sharpener and inquire about serrated knives. Handwork is required for this process.

I was on the verge of purchasing the seven-piece set. When I realized that I would prefer a small serrated utility knife over a standard utility knife, and that I would rarely use the bread knife, I purchased a four-piece Classic Ikon set for $450. This knife is the size of a utility knife and can be used for everything, including as a bread knife.
I was hesitant to add such a specific tool to our knife set because I was afraid it wouldn't get much use, but after reading all of the positive reviews and realizing that tomato slicing is something we do frequently, I decided to give it a shot. br>br>After a few weeks, I can say without a doubt that this knife, aside from our chef's knife, is seeing the most use. I must admit, the name is a little misleading because it not only works well to slice tomatoes, but also a variety of fruits and vegetables that are too delicate to be cut with a lot of force. The fork on the tip is also useful for quickly removing slices from the cutting board before continuing to slice.
I bought my knives one by one, and this tomato knife was the most recent addition to my collection. I wasn't planning on buying this knife at first because I didn't believe I needed it, but I'm glad I did. It's a cinch to slice tomatoes with it. I adore all of my Wustof knives, which is probably why they're regarded as the best knives in the world. Because I have arthritis, I went with the Classic Ikon series because the handles appeared to be more comfortable. They felt amazing in my hands, and all of the knives slice through anything like butter, keep their edge longer, and are easier to maintain than cheaper knives, which is why I decided to invest in a good set of knives. I reasoned that at the age of 57, I had earned them. These are knives that I strongly recommend.
Please use it with caution - My pinky finger was severed at the top! In my collection of high-quality knives, this is the sharpest knife.
Very incisive. When working with cut tomato pieces, the double point comes in handy. The balance is excellent, as it is with all Icon Classic knives.
Sandwiches are something we enjoy making on a regular basis. We've had Wusthof knives for a long time and recently purchased a large Wusthof knife kit, as well as this knife, to add to our collection of Wusthof knives. Tomatoes are sliced like butter with this tomato knife. We enjoy making sandwiches on a regular basis, and it's convenient to be able to slice a perfect thin (or medium, or thick) tomato slice and then cut our sandwiches in half with this knife. During cutting, the toasted bread does not crumble. It simply slashes through everything!.
This thing was like butter to them! I had to demonstrate how easy it was to cut to my wife. When she used it to cut, she had the same reaction. I can't speak to the durability of this because it's only been a week, but based on the reviews, these are the types of knives you'll be buying for a long time. This morning, I cut some tomato slices for sandwiches without squashing them. I placed an order for a 12-piece knife set and am eagerly anticipating its arrival.
