You need either a bone saw or a heavy cleaver for cutting bone and meat. The edge on knives is different from the edge on cleavers. When used to cut bone, the knife you are asking about will chip.
The blade is made from stainless steel, so it is extremely hard. 1000 grit and 4000 fine are too fine. I start off with 150 grit and 280 fine, the same toning I use on my axe and hatchet. You need to sharpen it for about three minutes before you can shave with it. As well as an accusharp that I have always carried with me hunting, I also touch it up with that if I am cutting ribs or anything I sharpened quite a few knives for the butchers when I was growing up because my family had a large meat market and slaughterhouse. It is in love with that handheld Accusharp. I have 3 of them, I think. diamond blades used for sharpening are made of The teeth are made from honed tungsten carbide and are replaceable and reversible. A touch-up was just performed today on my cleaver. Ideally, you should get a 22-degree angle on the cutting edge and after that, you might want to go with an 18-degree angle The temperature is 20 degrees,

I first saw it in a video of someone cooking outdoors and cutting onions and slicing things like that, and I thought, "Wow, that looks pretty cool. ". I was looking at the amazon prime lightning deals today and this awesome knife was one of them. My overall impression is that I look like a chef with this knife. As far as the leather case (not sure if it is real) is concerned, I'm not likely to use it unless I'm going to carry it around with me wherever I go (probably not). I carefully diced and sliced some carrots and onions with it like a professional. Do I recommend this product? No, I do not. It is highly recommended that you buy.
My first step after receiving it was to touch up the blade, then try it out to make When faced with this beast, one must be very respectful of it because it cuts through large items (like monster carrots) with such ease. Yet I still managed to bleed even if I didn't touch the blade! Though it does not fold into a compact bundle, it has a reasonably thick covering. As for hiking, I won't take it along with me. I'll probably carry it in the car.
It was constructed very well. Straight out of the box, it was razor sharp, and I liked how small and easy it was to use for cutting vegetables. As I had seen similar knives from Serbia for much higher prices, I was very satisfied with the value of this knife. I have been rubbing it with vegetable oil after every use, just as I would do with a carbon steel wok, that way its carbon content keeps it from rusting.
The handle is very comfortable too. The leather sheet is very sturdy and I really like the fact that it comes with it. There are two small holes on the sheet, like you can insert something into them to hang it up. I wish I knew what I needed to do so that I could hang the sheet on my belt.
The razor is as sharp as a blade right out of the box. The sheath, which is thick and leather, is great for keeping the knife clean and secure when If you wish to use the blade, be careful as it is not stainless steel. Oil it after hand washing since there are no steel shards in it. While you can strop it after you use it, you will not have to hon it often.
However, the steel does not rank highly in terms of quality. Therefore, it has also the advantage of being easy to sharpen. For the price, it's a very good deal. It can be intimidating to use a cleaver like this when you have never used one before. You should be aware that it is quite a bit of a learning curve because you are dealing with a very large file!.
Nevertheless, you can make it work. What do I know, maybe this thing is just too complicated for me. This machine cuts through squash like no other, and vegetables are no match! It's impossible to have a chance against steak, chicken, and fish.
It has a very sharp edge and could be used to shave with. A little practice is required to get used to the shape, and this makes the knife feel Once you practice it a bit, you can use it for anything You can slice, dice, chop, or chiffonade your food. As long as you practice, you'll be able to do it with ease.
