I got it for free from a furniture store when I was It was only from there that I could go up. While I'm no chef or expert slicer, I'm impressed with how well the knife feels in my hand. My 6 onions turned out perfectly after I cut them with it. I think it is a great deal for 30 bucks because the weight distribution is excellent.
With its flat ground edge, it would also be perfect for use with a convex sharpener from a knife maker such as Ken Onions. Weight is good and the construction is surprisingly good. Regardless of the blade profile, you can chop vegetables with it because it is thin. When the blade is thick, it will make it difficult to cut onions. Neither is it cheap looking nor is it a flop. You have impressed me. The price for this would have been 60 for me and I would be happy.
This is awesome! It's amazing what this knife can do!! You can cut almost anything with this knife because it is so well made. It is versatile enough to be used for both meat and vegetables. It is a chef's knife, and my son has a lot of expensive knives. He is impressed by this knife and the cost of this one.
