Once I found metal shavings on my table after using this meat slicer, I really liked I was so disappointed, because I liked the machine because it was easy to use and clean, and cut thin slices of meat very well. The risk of metal shavings getting into my food is too great for me. A very unfortunate situation.
A lot of people are buying this one since it is cheaper than the other one. I was able to easily cut the frozen meat with it. A written instruction is available in English. As soon as you get used to it, controlling the power makes it possible to customize how you cut. This information should be helpful to you before making a purchase.
Because of its primary use in home Shabu-shabu, I use this to shred meat I was surprised by the quick arrival of the parts and how well they came packaged. Approximately half of it is You can adjust the thickness based on your needs, and it's easy to adjust that. Stability of the cutter is maintained on a smooth countertop by the suction cups on the bottom. Since the parts are installed inside the blue packaging plastic wrap, removing the plastic without disassembling the product is impossible. Crushing the plastic wrap would have prevented it from being removed. As an example, I have attached a photograph showing my attempt at removing the plastic. In addition, something that really bothered me (after it was already too late) was how sharp the edges are in places that really should be re-sanded down to make them less sharp and to make the material safer for consumers. There were some hard places to capture in a photo, but one example I did manage to capture is the knife stopper in the second picture. Thus, I think that the product does need some final touches from a safety standpoint. Likewise, I think that a blade lock similar to paper cutters would be great so that the blade can be locked when not being used. Be aware that the length of the blade does not actually correspond to the diameter of the meat that It is estimated that there are around This is a potentially time-wasting 5" of space in front of the blade because it is beyond the location where the meat can go, and there is little adjustment available to you in terms of meat placement. As a result, I wasn't able to make really good cuts due to the large size of the piece of meat I had frozen. It's better if the meat you are cutting is a long rectangular shape, since it will feed nicely into the blade. My meat ended up being sliced freehand on a cutting board this time, which isn't as thin as I'd like it to be because I didn't want to deal with any raw meat juices. The next time we hotpot, I will try with a smaller diameter meat and see if that My experience thus far with this slicer is that it doesn't work.
Exactly what I was looking for. There were some sharp edges on the knife stopper/rest that went through quality control and I cut my thumb on that part. I would have given it 5 stars, but some edges made it through quality control. In any case, I covered it with a rubber nipple, so it won't happen again.
I was unsure after reading other reviews but it's amazing for the price. It's much easier to cut treats for our dogs when using the device! There are many choices for thickness, and they're easy to clean, too!.
This tool has been holding up well over several uses and I really like how well it performs. When I first purchased it I was unsure about the quality, but it has held up well over time. The price is reasonable.
However, about the 4th time, I noticed there was a crack in the block where the arm attaches to the unit and a chunk of plastic fell The risk is not acceptable.
The knife may sound easy enough to sharpen myself, but who sharpens an inexpensive knife, anyway?) No gauge or indication is provided when adjusting the thickness knobs, nor are you able to compare two knobs that are set for the same thickness. A faulty blade can come into being if I turn one or both knobs too much. I do not like it!.
