Slices mandolins better than a mandolin cutter. It was hard to follow the instructions in the manual. According to the pictures, what I did was assemble the slicer.

A steel that rusts because it is cheaply manufactured

The squeaker has been there from day one. It has been used four times since we got it, but is starting to rust badly where the bearings are designed to go. On top of that, the edges of the package have a coating of silicone that started peeling the very first day. The product slices frozen meat ok, but it is not well made and is not long lasting.
