It works with gas too. The fact that it wasn't enamel over steel until after I ordered it surprised me. Just high temperature paint was over steel instead of enamel. My stove has a gas burner, so if the flames come up on the side, they may burn the paint off. You can use it on a gas stove as long as you keep the flame underneath it, but it is probably better to use on In spite of that, it's really There's no excessive noise coming from the whistle. I found that it takes longer to heat the water than the older teapot, but it was much heavier, and the older one cost a lot more money. It is light, pours smoothly, the handle stays cool, and the cap seals tightly. With its attractive design and its ability to heat water and tell you when it is boiling, it's a good little pot that heats water reasonably well.

This item rusts easily, but it is a good deal

It makes such a sweet little noise when it gets hot, and me and my husband love it. Smooth and beautiful, the design is very well done. With an electric stove, we keep it at a medium temperature and not higher than that to boil the water.

We'd purchased the exact same model before and it developed rust fairly quickly. Therefore, my recommendation is to just dump out water after using it, or excess water-related corrosion will develop. If you must, you should dry it out to prevent rust from coming up. The best way to remove rust from the teapot is to use baking soda this will help to remove it from the rim. Apparently, mixing a little water with baking soda and smoothing it on the rust spots is the best way to remove it. For best results, leave the paste on the rust for an hour, then wipe it I just wanted to share my thoughts with you.

A color change occurs

It is really cute and functions really well, but after a few uses it starts to undergo a change of color. However, I do not see any way to contact the seller. I hate to leave a bad review, but I cannot locate any contact information. Teapots that I can use every day and leave on the stove to also look nice are very hard to come by, but this is not the one for me. If I knew that before I bought, I would have made a better decision.

Great kettle. I like it a lot. It only has two negatives, namely that the whistle could be louder and the handle gets a little too warm (it can be fixed by using a potholder). It looks good in my kitchen and is of good quality. The book is highly recommended!.

There is nothing I like more than this kettle. Considering the material used for the handle and spout, I think they are superb choices! With this kettle, my finger does not burn when I open it, as it did with other kettles I have As far as I can tell, the kettle has stuck to the heat from the gas stove well, as there have been no paint chips or rust. In contrast to the other reviewer, I have not experienced any melting of the tea kettle handle or the spout.

I filled it with water for the first time, and it did not whistle. Upon closer inspection, I realized I had not closed the lid tightly enough. After a day of playing in the snow, we enjoyed several hot cups of cocoa after coming inside with the water heater. This has been very convenient on cold winter days. From that point on, friends and family have come over to sled and play and I have received nothing but compliments. My expectations were met with this program. All it needs is some minor tweaking to look and work right. Hopefully, these photos will help you get a better idea of what to expect. Let me know how you like it!.
