An indication of the country of origin is not present on the pot. Although the quality is outstanding, the price is reasonable. A very solid product. There are no flaws or defects to be found. It looks like it could last several generations past me, so long as it does not get run over by a half-ton truck Follow the website.
My assumption is that the pot is enamel because the inside of the lid is stainless steel, and the inside of the pot is dark blue. A very nice pot. I'm very pleased with it. As of now, I have been inducted. The whistle will not blow and the handles will not heat up.
The red color of Chantal kettle is the primary color There's nothing pink or orange about it.
With a stainless band surrounding the opening, the Chantal Vintage Enamel on Steel Whistling Teakettle looks simple and elegant. From the inside edge of the band to the inside edge of the band, the inside diameter A 75" monitor.

It follows that I really like the look of the kettle, but it drips when I pour water unless I pour it As a result, every time we make tea, we have a mess of hot water on the counter. Please note that it does work, but because the metal on the base is relatively thin, it takes longer to heat than I would have liked. It did work on our induction stove, however, so we recommend you use it with that type of stove. The manufacturer of the product was contacted about the dripping issue and their only recommendation was to rap the whistling lid a few times before pouring to remove water in it, but that didn't work for me either. However, we ended up returning the kettle because we didn't want to deal with hot water spilling all over the counter every time I used it.
In day 26 of use, there was a hole in the bottom. January 20, 2019 was the start date for the application. It was leaking large amounts of water yesterday, February 15, 2019! How can I return it if you say I cannot? So it's been 26 days since you began using it! What are you asking for fifty dollars? There is no way to explain this! Amazon has no exemption from our laws just because it is Amazon. I will fight you on this because Maine requires implied warranties of 4 years for all products sold to consumers in Maine. I will fight on this.
It follows that Tea kettles only have two uses boiling water and making tea. Once the water has heated up, whistle once it has done so. Oops, I forgot. Make sure your company doesn't There's no whistle on this $50 tea kettle and it drips. Alternatively, I could just boil water in a pot (pots don't drip) if I did not want it to whistle water. Earlier reviewers who claimed it leaked and did not whistle were lying since there were so many positive reviews and a picture in the manual shows musical notes emanating from the kettle spout - so it must, it must, be true. It alerts you automatically that the water is hot because that's what a tea kettle is meant to do. Why on earth would anyone make or sell a tea kettle without churning and dripping water? In light of this, I'm including a video. The design of this calculator is very nice, so it earned two stars. The function is rated one star. Getting back to you.
After more than 30 years of Chantal cookware, I have discovered that I need to replace my This new teapot appears to be of good quality and of good look, but it is smaller than the old one. As well, it is seen that the teapot's spout cover has a hole in the center (for steam to escape). This teapot has a hole more than twice as large as the original teapot. When the tea boils, water erupts out of the spout cover like a The water gets all over the place quickly! Chantal cookware is an excellent brand for me, so I'm disappointed.
Defective design is responsible for this product's failure to function. It is marked by a lip at the point where the body meets the spot. There is water sitting there that causes rust. You would have to stick your finger down the spout and dry it by hand.
Has anyone at Chantal tested this? Customers service told me that the only cases where the pipes rust are if they are It seems that I somehow hit something against the inside joint of the spout, causing a lip to form even though there is a lip on the outside. Yes, that is fine. As mentioned above, this product was intended to be cute (which it is) rather than to be used on a regular basis. The following update An employee from customer service let me know it is safe to eat rust daily and provided me with a wikipedia article to prove it.
You get a lot for your money with this teapot. The teapot I have always had is a Le Crueset, but after two years it seems to have fallen apart It takes 3 years for them to rust, and then I have to request a new one from the warranty department. In order to "prove" that the rust is not due to your fault but rather to a manufacturing problem, it's quite a hassle. As far as this particular item goes, I bought it for about $50 after reading reviews. There seems to be a pot out there that will rust just a matter of time. This kettle pours nicely, heats the water faster, and looks beautiful on my stovetop. A towel cannot be used to pick up the handle because it can get hot, but it can get hot enough to get hot. While I like the white color, I'm afraid it will end up dirty very quickly. This kettle isn't as heavy-duty as my le crueset kettle, but it does the job just as well for a fraction of the price.
We love the design of this kettle. A whistle and a fast heat up feature make it a great addition to any kitchen. It gets very warm, however, when you touch the top handle. Unless I use an oven mitt instead of bare hands, I can't hold the kettle in my hands when it whistles, and I'm not able to pour the water with bare hands. However, I do notice the handle gets very hot, even though I don't see steam escape from the top. In addition, the handle cannot be tilted and moved.
Kettles that do not do this do not exist. It has happened for both my husband and me at least multiple times with this kettle, so it's not just a careless error on our part. It is actually the harmonica whistle Chantal kettle that we have just replaced with, which does not produce hot water like this one does. My sincere hope is that it won't happen to you if you purchase this one.
