Yes, the silicone material on the molds' lids has been upgraded as well.
I just got this mold and made my first batch of egg bites today with the lid snapped down in an 8-inch circle. Cosori pressure cooker, 1 quart - It worked flawlessly and without a hitch. I used a stick blender to add a lot of air to the mixture and poured it into the cups to within 1/4" of the top edge - The finished product was still 1/4" below the rim, but it was clear that the majority of them had touched the lid during the cooking process. It's no problem; They didn't overflow because they had a lid - There was absolutely no mess. It was also delicious! br>br>I was very pleased with my first attempt, so go ahead and try the lid! If you don't have a 2-quart container, I believe two of them could be stacked with the lids on. trivet with a flat surface As soon as my new order for a second one arrives, I'll give it a shot. Keep the mold out of the water by supporting it with a trivet at least an inch off the bottom.
I believe you could use this in an air fryer because it can be cooked in an oven. The top, on the other hand, is a little iffy.

Another fantastic addition to my instant pot's accessory collection. I bought this to use in the recipe for Sous Vide Starbucks Egg Bites, and it did not disappoint. I'm going to make another one so I can double the recipe and stack them to make 14 instead of 7. To lower it into the pot, I made an aluminum foil sling, which worked perfectly. If you're making the egg bites, here are a few pointers to keep in mind. To avoid watery eggs, use the cover, but leave it open so it can expand. I let the eggs cool for about 5 minutes after cooking them, then flipped the mold over with a dinner plate on top of it. The eggs came out easily and without sticking. The mold was not greased in any way. The ingredients were almost to the top of the mold when I filled it. The egg mixture slightly pushed the lid up after it was cooked, but this was not a problem. I noticed some moisture around the bites, so I simply placed a doubled paper towel on the plate to absorb it. It was an excellent purchase. This product comes highly recommended.
The silicone didn't stick to itself at all, making cleaning a breeze. The lid is well-fitting and works well for pre-cooking your eggs the night before and then simply popping them into the instant pot in the morning.
Because two Instant Pots fit in the same space, I bought a second one so I could make 14 egg bites at once! br>br>Even without oil or spray, the bites don't stick to this thing. They are unaffected by the silicone's taste. It's simple to maintain. Best of all, there are "stiffeners" on the underside of the cups, which make handling and loading them into the Instant Pot much easier because they do not flex and cause the contents to slosh or spill. I'd buy another IP if my current one could hold three.
Making 14 bites at once was a great idea, and they kept well in the freezer, though they didn't taste as good as the ones that had only been refrigerated. The bites came out easily after I greased them with butter. Allow at least 15 minutes for them to cool after they've been cooked. I threw in some veggie sausage bits and chopped frozen spinach that had been thawed. I also tried adding cooked plain oatmeal, which turned out to be quite tasty. I blended my eggs with a hand mixer (you could use a blender or just hand whisk if you don't mind a less uniform texture), then steamed in the molds over water in a large pot for 20 minutes, letting cool in the pot for 10 minutes and outside the pot for another 10 minutes, so it's a process, but you get a lot of bites. The only thing I wish was that the shape was more like the sous vide bites.
The sous-eggs from Starbucks are fantastic! I made mine at home in this little gem of an instant pot, and it turned out fantastic! It had the exact same flavor as Starbucks. They were cooked to perfection and came out easily. There was no additional oil added at all!.
This silicone mold has made me very happy. It's very sturdy, which makes it easier to fill, put in the pressure cooker, and take out. Cups are the perfect size. br>The cover can be used to keep condensation off the item you're cooking as well as to store finished food. br>Egg bites were taken. Mini cheesecakes and an upside-down pineapple cake are next on the menu.
This is one of the best products I've ordered in a long time; I used it to make Egg Bites in my Instant Pot, and they came out perfectly. This is a product that I strongly recommend!.
