Is this compatible with the Pampered Chef Instant Pot?

Let me tell you something. You don't even need an "InstaPot" to make this. I simply used my stock pot to steam the vegetables, and it worked perfectly! I filled the pot halfway with water and brought it to a boil to start the steam. After that, I used the included egg bites rack to place a filled egg mold (I only used one). Just make sure you don't use the supplied plastic covers and instead cover the molds with foil, as everyone says. br>It took me around 8 hours. The eggs were perfectly cooked in only 9 minutes!

Despite the fact that I have a stove, I steamed the egg bites in a stock pot instead of using my top pressure cooker, and they turned out perfectly. Keep in mind: This is just a simple custard recipe. That's all the Starbucks version is, so it's simple if you think about it that way. br>I used the basic Pioneer Woman Egg Bite recipe (4 eggs, 1/4 cup cream, 1/4 cup sour cream, sour cream, sour cream, sour cream, sour cream, sour cream, sour cream, sour cream, sour cream, p, followed by cooked bacon bits and shredded cheddar I first put the bacon and cheddar in the cups, then filled them with the egg mixture until they were about 1/4 inch above the tops of the cups, then tightly wrapped everything in foil. br>I put about an inch of water in my stock pot, brought it to a boil, then dropped in the trivet with the egg cups, covered it, and let it stream. It took me about 18 minutes to complete mine. They were perfect and came out of the cups with ease (no, I didn't grease the cups first - Because it's made of silicone, it's completely non-toxic. stick. )br>br>Use any recipe you want; just keep in mind that even if you don't have an Instapot, it will still work!.

I'm glad I got them! This is what I bought for my electric pressure cooker
4/5

It's the first time I've used it, and I like it. After allowing the eggs to cool for a few minutes on the counter, they were easy to remove from the mold. I had read in another review that they should be covered with parchment paper, but I didn't do so. The moisture from the lid condenses and collects in the egg cups when they aren't covered, so I'll make sure I do it next time. It was simple to clean up. br>br> Each cup can be cleaned with just a few swirls of a dishrag inside. It's a lot less work than using a muffin pan. I used 8 eggs, a dash of salt, pepper, dry mustard, and about 2 cups milk to make this mold, which did not come with a recipe. I used about 1/4 cup of the mixture to fill each cup, then added my fillings and cheese on top. I did a quick release after cooking them on Manuel for ten minutes. br>br>The rack made it very simple to remove both molds. In less than half an hour, the entire procedure was completed. Done with a simple meal! I can see myself using this rack instead of making a sling out of tin foil on a regular basis. Because the covers that came with the molds can't be used in the pressure cooker, I don't think I'll use them very often. The covers are useful if you're storing the molds in the fridge with food in them.

I bought this product earlier this week with the intention of boiling eggs without having to peel them or boil them on the stove
5/5

This was suggested as an alternative to hard boiling eggs, and since I have an instant pot, I thought I'd give it a shot. br>br>Product arrived without instructions, which was not surprising given that this is a common complaint in the reviews. Aside from that, the items are of good quality; I wasn't sure what to expect from the lids, but they appear to be silicone rather than plastic to me. There are conflicting reports on whether or not these lids can be used in the instapot. I believe the lids are just a different color but still silicone, so I put them in the instant pot despite the lack of instructions. br>br>On the first try, I oiled each hole and filled two eggs to hard boil, one egg white, and the remaining four holes with beaten egg, a little milk, and omelet ingredients such as ham, onion, and cheese. (The first time I only did one egg bite tray) cooked 5 minutes, 10 minutes natural release, scraped around the egg with the scraper that came with it, and they just popped out easily. They were delicious and expertly prepared. (If you want soft boiled or poached eggs, google times; I'm sure it'll work) Since then, I've cooked a lot more egg whites to cut up for salads; I love this new way of boiling eggs, and the little omelets are delicious. br>br>The second time I made blueberry muffins, they turned out great but were a little soft, so I put them in the oven and broiled them for 3 minutes to get a nice crust, so depending on how you like your muffins, this might not be the way for you (boiled outside of pan, just stuck them on a rack, I don't think the silicone would do well at that temp) I do use the silicone lids that came with the instant pot, and they seem to br>br>3rd time brownies, oh these turned out so perfect, I love gooey brownies, never care for the edges, so happy with these, will only make brownies in these from now on. The water that goes to the lid is protected by the egg bites' lids. I cook 30 minutes with a 10 minute natural release and the brownies just pop out. I made a fourth time Pancake batter with sausage using the "Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Brownie Mix"br>br> Have you tried Jimmy Dean's sausage pancake on a stick yet? I tried pancake batter with cut up sausage (I used turkey sausage) and cooked for 15 minutes with a 5-minute cool down period. These are fantastic, and can be eaten on the go or as a traditional sit-down breakfast. br>br>I've only had it for a week and have already put it to good use. I've been handwashing the molds and lids because there are no instructions, but the scrapers have been put through the dishwasher without issue. The only disadvantage I see is the lack of clear directions. Some say it can go in the dishwasher, while others say no; some say lids should not go in the instant pot, while others say it is fine; I don't know the right answer, so the biggest problem with this product is lack of information about how to care for it and what the lids are made of, so I don't know if it's safe to cook with them. br>br> My next idea is corn dogs, which I plan to make with a corn bread mix and Costco beef hot dogs to see how they turn out. I always think corndogs have too much batter and the hotdogs are too small and unappealing. I'm so glad I got it, and I'm thinking about getting a second set so I can have a backup batch ready to go when I pull one out.

It ruins the flavor of your food! One major flaw with this product is that it imparts a strange flavor to your food while cooking! We didn't notice it at first because we were using these to make a Starbucks sous vide egg bite, and I'm guessing the flavor was so strong that we didn't notice the strange taste of silicone
3/5

However, we recently began using these molds to make instant pot poached eggs, and after a few batches and a variety of experiments, we've discovered that the silicone imparts an off flavor to the eggs - If you smell the silicone molds, they have a slight odor to them, which is the same smell that our food has. It's not dish soap or detergent residue, according to our tests. Even after thoroughly scrubbing them with only water, they still have this odor, which pervades the food we prepare. This is a major setback - Because they're contaminating our food, we'll just throw them away.

Because it's so simple, I'm thinking about purchasing more sets
5/5

I CAN cook, and I can do it very well. But I despise having to do it. These molds were purchased with the intention of making medium-sized cakes. Quick, easy, tasty, high protein, low calorie little balls made with cooked eggs without the angst of peeling the final product However, after cracking the eggs into my large Ninja blending pitcher, I decided to season what would otherwise be boiled eggs with salt. Then add pepper, dried minced onions, a little cheese, and any remaining vegetarian sausage. After I finished adding Yummies, I used my electric pressure cooker to make 'Eggs Bites' according to online instructions. With this find, I'm reminded of Isaac Newton! It's ideal for someone who despises cooking. I have a long list of egg variations that I want to try.
