The CKSTBSTW00 buffet server's pans can be used in the oven.
I had recently placed an order for one. Yes, as shown in the last two photos, disposable pans could be used if only the base was used instead of the triple tray. I'm definitely going to do it again with other pans.
For the past two Shabbos, we've been using this tray. Our family of six has been together for five years, but we do have visitors on occasion. It's set on a timer for us. We eat mostly warm food on Friday nights, so there's not a lot of prep work. There is no need for heating, and the timer turns the plate off when the meal is finished. We preheat about two hours before mealtime the next day, and it works just as well as it did the day we first bought it, with no complaints.
This buffet server has a power rating of 300 watts. Furthermore, all of our products sold in the United States and Canada are designed and UL-certified for use in 110-volt environments. The voltage is 120 volts.

These were perfect for my holiday party at my house! They were able to keep food warm for several hours without drying it out or over-cooking it. I used foil pans in them for easy refills (backup dishes were kept in the oven) and cleanup.

However, you wouldn't notice it unless you 1) knew what to expect and 2) got close enough to the unit to smell it.
I bought this item hoping to learn more about the materials used to make the buffet chafing pans. I called the manufacturer, Oster, and learned that buffet chafing pans are made of aluminum, not stainless steel, as stated in the owner's manual and online. This item will be returned to me.
We've had it for two months and have already used it three times in our party room to entertain guests. As expected, it functions properly. Keeps food warm to hot, but not to the point of drying it out. We've used it to make chicken wings, toasted ravioli, pizza rolls, meatballs, bacon-wrapped lil' smokies, and other dishes. For these, it was perfect. There's no reason to believe it won't work for something else. Cleaning up is a breeze. br>br>We discovered that the product's foundation is made of extremely light materials that flex when moved. The frame that surrounds the serving pans is also made of a lightweight material. The use of pans is beneficial. Lids are light, so they could chip or crack easily. Durability is a concern for us. I'm sure we could have done better if we had spent more money. As a result, we docked one star from an otherwise excellent product. br>br>When comparing servers, keep in mind that some are significantly smaller than others, despite appearances. We paid a little more for this one because the serving pans were twice as large as the ones that were on sale everywhere at Christmas for $30. It can also be used as a hot plate. br>br>Edit ten 2013: In the last 18 months, I've used it 20 times. The condition is still excellent. Although the heat could be improved and there is a lot of condensation on the inside of the lids, these do the job and look great on the serving table. Holidays and family dinners were taken to the next level when we served our guests from these buffet warmers.
In my photos, you can even see the condensation on the lid. This is fantastic! If I set it to high, it actually caramelized and cooked my bbq sausage a little more. I'm going to use it for all of my parties and get-togethers. Thanks!.
It's a good product, and I bought two of them on a flash sale. I believe it is a good buy at the discounted price. It's a good product; it kept food warm, was simple to use, and was simple to clean. My visitor was blown away. I would recommend purchasing them when they are on sale; my only criticism is that the regular price seems a little high for the size.
When I first opened the box, I was left with a mixed feeling, especially after reading other reviews for these products. The trays are teeny-tiny-tiny-tiny-tiny I'm not sure what they were used for at parties- Unless it was a four-person party. br>The only reason I gave it a three is because of the presentation. The ad agency is fantastic.
