It appeared to absorb the dishwashing detergent's flavor and odor. Because it DOES transfer to the egg bites, I'm hoping it will fade or that I'll figure out another way to get the taste/smell out of it. br>br>I bought this to use in my 6-quart sous vide cooker to make egg bites. Instant Pot with a capacity of 1 quart I enjoy the egg bites sold by the large Coffee Shop, but at $5 for two small ones, I was intrigued by the prospect of making my own. This tray is perfect, and my egg bites turned out even better than Star's. ummmm. that enormous Coffee Shop br>br>I was overjoyed to see the little recipe insert, but the sky really is the limit! Only a word of caution: don't overfill the cups. Allow about a third of an inch of space. Set your Instant Pot to steam for 8 minutes, then let the pressure naturally release for 7 minutes, and you're done! The only thing I would change is to add small handles on both sides to make it easier to put in and remove from the pot.

I now regret not purchasing two! I found an amazing recipe on a website that I can't recall now (although the recipes in the booklet look great, I wanted to go just a tad healthier)br>4 eggsbr>1/2 cup cottage cheesebr>1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I'm going to try parmesan next)br>1/4 cup spinach leavesbr>2 strips of cooked crumbled baconbr>Salt to tastebr>And I added (because I had available and like mine spicy br>br>I usually blend everything except the bacon because I don't want my spinach to float; I want it to be evenly distributed. After that, I add the bacon and give it a couple of pops in the blender. br>br>I steamed them for 10 minutes in the Instant Pot, then turned it off and let them sit for another 10 minutes, and they were perfect; even my 14-year-old and picky fiance enjoyed them. br>br>I've also made hard-boiled eggs without the shells (cooking time is the same as above) and they came out perfectly. Great for salads and egg salads, and there's no peeling required. br>br>2 things I wish I had known: Cover with foil to keep them from getting soggy on the bottom (though they were still delicious) and spray with cooking oil. For the first hard-boiled set, I didn't, and cleaning them was a lot of fun because they stuck like crazy.

Excellent product that was delivered promptly. It's the first time I've used it, but it worked wonders on egg bites. There was no chemical odor in my case. It appears to be of good quality and durability. I oiled the cups with avocado oil and lowered them into the pan with a trivet so that making little egg bites was simple and mess-free. It was super quick and easy to make because I blended everything together in a blender and then poured it into cups. If you need to get out early in the morning and want some protein for breakfast, this is a great option because it can be refrigerated and reheated later. Two egg bites can be heated in the microwave in under a minute. With soap and water, it can be cleaned quickly. I never use a dishwasher for silicone molds. br>I'm looking for more recipes and applications for this. Poached eggs are on my to-do list. Perhaps some cheesecake bites in miniature form.

"Egg Bites" appear on my menu at least once a week. Bacon, eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, and cream were beaten together and poured into the Egg Bite mold. After that, a quick run through the Instant Pot yields 7 egg bites. Leftover egg bites are stored in the refrigerator and can be reheated later in the microwave. I make an egg sandwich to go by slicing an egg bite and placing it on a piece of toast; this mold is the perfect size (4 eggs and the rest of the ingredients make 7 Bites) and is very easy to clean. The only blunder I made was ordering only one. I'm looking for recipes that will allow me to use this mold to make serving-sized portions of other foods.

I'm not one for following recipes, but I was in the mood for green chile (Colorado style), so I whisked together five eggs, half a cup of milk, a large handful of cheddar cheese, and another handful of green chilies, then poured the mixture into the molds. After filling it 3/4 full, I had a total of nine. These were absolutely incredible! I'll make it again and again. *Cooked for 15 minutes with a 10-minute slow release.

The package includes a small recipe booklet as well as a plastic utensil for removing the cooked ingredients from the mold. I finally got to use it today and made a copycat recipe for the infamous Sous Vide Egg Bites; I've never tried the original, so I can't compare the two, but what I made turned out really well! The mold came with a recipe, so I followed it. I didn't even need the utensil because the egg bites easily came out of the mold when I flipped it over onto a plate. I'm excited to use this mold for more egg bites and possibly brownie bites in the future!.

This silicone pan is one of my favorites. It's an excellent solution. Because it's made of thick silicone, I didn't need to use any spray to keep it nonstick, and the egg bites steamed to perfection. It was simple to take them down. When I turned it upside down, it immediately fell apart. There are also recipes included. I got 14 egg bites out of each batch. This has a special place in my heart. It also comes with a cover so you can keep them refrigerated.

WARNING: This method is incompatible with sous-vide. Because it is not watertight, it must be kept in a sealed container. Regardless of how gently you place it in the water, water will immediately leak in. Because it floats, you won't be able to properly cook the tops. br>However, it works well in the oven and for any dry cooking.
