If it's on a table or if it's locked up. Because it's an open flame, it has the potential to set the tent on fire if it tips over. In a tent where my family would be sleeping, I would not use it.

Yes, 300ml (a little more than 1 cup) of water can be boiled in about 15 minutes. A titanium canteen cup was used by me.

Before using the tins, make sure they are filled with boiling water. They're not meant to heat water; instead, they're designed to keep hot water hot. I guess that's why they last 7 hours, despite the fact that eating events rarely last that long. The gel ones, on the other hand, heat water but only last a couple of hours. 3 hours.

I upgraded to good quality chafing dishes after using disposable serving trays for years. br>br>Whether disposable or high-quality, all chafing dishes have one thing in common: they must last for a long time. I like how long the sterno lasts. For two reasons, you should burn them: the ease with which it can be lit and the time it takes to burn This is the first time I've used Amazon as a source (I usually go to Party City). These cans arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Some are dented, but none are "deformed" to the point of not fitting in my sterno holders (as shown in the photos). br>br>In terms of length, I lit them at 3:00 a. m. They were still going at 8 p. m. , despite the fact that they had been going for 30 minutes. I'd say they were perfect because there was still fuel in them when I blew them out.

The tins fit the chafing dish frames perfectly, and they work perfectly

They provided consistent heat without emitting any odors or emitting any smoke. Our event lasted more than four hours, and we still had some fuel left over. The caps were tightly screwed on. It was a nice touch to include a lid opener. These are something I would buy again.

There was a lot of damage when it arrived! More than half of the cans were damaged when they arrived

I'm afraid to use some of them because they were so badly damaged. I'm afraid I won't be able to return the package because it arrived just in time for my Christmas Eve party, so I'll have to make do with the few items that were left over. Cans that have been damaged. The un- Damaged cans worked great (would have given it a 5-star rating), but I'm only giving it two stars because I can only use about half of what I paid for. Very let down.

I went with the 6 hour burn because I didn't have to deal with 40 pounds of turkey, 10 pounds of potatoes, stuffing, or anything else. 2 large lasagna pans (served 48 people) kept warm. They arrived on time, and I was very pleased with the product's opening tool, which lit up immediately. One or two of the cans had a dent in them, but who cares? They weren't meant to be pretty, and they did their job. I will buy them again if the need arises, and I highly recommend them.

Avoid these at all costs; they are ineffective

If you don't want to waste your money and have a bad experience, don't buy these! I bought these because the reviews were mostly positive, but I should've paid more attention to the ones that were honest and critical, because they are spot on! These not only don't warm the food because the wick is too short to reach the pans, but they also only last 4 hours instead of 6! That's deceptive, and I'm not sure why they'd claim such things! The remaining items must be returned! They simply do not function!.

It was extremely simple to work with. Worked for a total of 5 hours and 45 minutes. There is no strong odor, and it is simple to use. Nothing burned when it was heated up. br>I'll be ordering more later this year for a different event. This is our first time using this particular brand of product, but it appears to be effective.
