I bought this because it was larger than my previous one, and I like to shake mine as it brews every day, which you can't do with this one. The grounds get into the water, so you can't fill it all the way up. It was extremely difficult to stir.

For over a year, I've been making cold brewed coffee, and it's a difficult but rewarding job. worth it. If you enjoy cold brewed coffee but don't want to pay the astronomically high supermarket prices, this Cold Brew Coffee Maker should be on your Christmas list; it is incredibly simple to use and produces excellent coffee. I used to get severe heartburn when I made perked or drip coffee. For some reason, the cold brew process gets rid of this. However, the old method of putting coffee in a jar, shaking it, and leaving it overnight before beginning the slow and laborious filtering process was a pain. Now I strain the coffee, add the water, stir well, let it sit overnight, then pour it into my storage jar. I use a fine strainer because a few grains of coffee will inevitably escape, but it's so simple and the coffee is so good. This is a product that I wholeheartedly recommend.

The top of the filter has two large GAPING holes, so grinds will swirl over the top and into the coffee at all times. There's no way to keep it from happening unless you only fill it halfway, but then what was the point of getting such a large pitcher in the first place? Also, the part of the lid that is attached to the handle does not come off, preventing the last inch of liquid from draining and making it impossible to clean around the top inner rim properly. BUY THIS ITEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!.

Overall, it's appealing, and it appears to be sleek and functional, but don't be fooled by its appearance. The filter basket of coffee grinds is held in place by an interior collar that appears to be removable, but it isn't. As a result, about an inch of the bottle's interior is unable to be cleaned by hand, and a lip forms to catch stray coffee grinds and sediment. So, unless you have the patience to rinse and empty the container several times to thoroughly clean it, you'll be starting your next batch of cold brew with some debris from the previous container. br>Some users complained about the gap between the grinds basket and the interior collar, which allows grinds to float out and into the brew and makes it difficult to add water once the basket is filled. I was able to make use of that void as a work opportunity. Around the flask, I channeled the water I was filling it with into that gap, preventing stray grounds from floating out. br>If you don't drink cold brew on a regular basis, this may be a cost-effective option for you; however, if you're like me and drink it every day in the summer, skip this one.

It makes delicious, smooth cold coffee and is simple to use. For ice coffee fans, this is a must-try. I put my coffee in it, put it in the fridge overnight, and the next morning, I remove the coffee filter, add sweetener, and cream, and voila, I have delicious ice coffee. When compared to buying ice coffee at the supermarket, this method is definitely more cost effective. In addition, I have the freedom to use any flavor I want. If I had any advice, it would be to follow the instructions and only fill to the top window; otherwise, if you tilt the pitcher slightly, the coffee grinds will flow into the pitcher.

This product was so good that I told everyone about it. Because it's tall and skinny, I liked how it fit in my refrigerator. The basket's design and the way the lid keeps it in place are both fantastic. It was beautifully designed, including the tightening of the lid and the click it made after two spins to keep it in place. Also, I enjoy experimenting with flavored coffee, and it NEVER retains the flavors, even when they are extremely strong. I've even put some crystal light in it between cold brew pitchers and it hasn't left any flavor. Even though it stated that it was dishwasher safe, I always hand washed all of the pieces because it is simply too tall for the dishwasher and easy to wash as is. I had never dropped it before, but this was the first time, and the bottom cracked completely. It was also empty! It has completely cracked through and will no longer hold liquid. I purchased it on April 30th, and the return period ended on June 1st, but it broke on June 25th. It didn't last for very long at all. I wish it had been more durable; I'm disappointed that it broke. I gave away my other pitcher because I liked this one so much.

This is something I kept. I, on the other hand, am not a huge fan. To begin with, you won't be able to completely drain the water. When flipped upside down, it gets caught in the lid. It was also a little larger than I had expected. The flavor isn't the product's fault; I just need to experiment with the proportions more. br>All I want is for the top to come off so I can dry it.
