Take note of this! The coffee maker is excellent, but the carafe is made of eggshell thin glass that is easily broken (see photo). Furthermore, the carafe is unusually shaped, implying that carafes from other manufacturers will not likely fit in place of the one included with the coffee maker. Calphalon told me that they didn't have any carafes when I offered to buy one outright! Purchase and use at your own risk; however, be careful not to break the delicate carafe.

Despite the fact that I don't buy the most expensive coffee or grind my own beans, the coffee has the best flavor of any coffee pot I've had in years. The four-hour warming plate, as well as the temperature-adjustable plate, are fantastic features. My coffee is never burned when I use 4 hours on medium. Because I'm allergic to metal, I can't use the permanent filter, but the paper works great in this pot. The only issue I had was calculating the correct amount of grounds for the pot. Even the very strong coffee I brewed had a pleasant flavor and was not bitter. I REALLY LIKE THIS POT. It's impossible to overstate how important it is. It has a nice appearance, is the perfect size, and the pot is easy to handle. My wrist was broken, and it's picky about balance, but it doesn't mind lifting and pouring the pot. When pouring, there are no drips at all. It does have a unique feature that I haven't seen anywhere else. A rubber 'gasket' that goes above the pot and allows the condensation to drain back into it. That was a brilliant idea for keeping the coffee at the proper temperature. I did discover that if you place the pot in the holder and turn the handle to the side, the gasket will always seat properly.

It makes good coffee, but there are some design flaws that irritate me. There is a lot of condensation under the lid after brewing. Every time you get a cup of coffee, it drips and sizzles on the hot plate. Throughout the cycle, water drips into the tank, causing noises to be heard. When you open the lid to empty the grounds, the water returns to the tank and attempts to brew. Even when the basket is not in use, a large amount of water must be wiped out of the basket area. Caraf stains easily, even after only a few uses. To remove stains, I need to use a soft scrubby. The lip on the inside of the pour spout makes it difficult to reach in and clean, and it also prevents all of the liquid from pouring out completely. When the device is ready, it beeps six times, and when it is turned off, it beeps six times. This feature is unaffected by turning it off. I'm sorry it didn't work out for me; I'll be back.

This BRAND NEW Coffee Maker is well worth your time. Cuisinart has always been my go-to brand, and I've never been disappointed. However, because there were so many negative reviews of the current Cuisinart Coffee Makers, I decided to do some research. My research led me to this brand-new Calphalon Coffee Maker, which has only been available since November 2020. It isn't loud, in my opinion. As the water is sucked into the shower head, it makes a small amount of noise. Every detail has been meticulously considered, including the thoughtful rubber that surrounds the water exit to prevent splashing. The pot is well-designed and feels like a work of art in its own right - The balance is perfect. I use 10 scoops of freshly ground coffee beans for 5 cups of coffee because we like our coffee mild but with a strong flavor. PERFECTION PERFECTION PERFECTION PERFEC We can't wait to get out of bed and have a cup of coffee. The machine was well-protected in its packaging, and delivery was lightning fast!.

After 6 months, I discovered that what I thought was a nice coffee maker was actually a cheap piece of junk. If you tap the glass pot against a hard surface, it will easily shatter and break, and there is no way to replace it. To top it off, when you contact the company, you must go through hoops and ship the item back to them with your own money "so they can investigate and learn not to make cheap, expensive, and easily broken products. " My recommendation is to avoid it and instead purchase from a company that stands behinds its product and does not place the burden of proof on you.

To begin with, when you pour coffee from the pot, it does not drip on the counter. That's one of my biggest gripes with all of the other coffee makers I've tried, and I've tried a lot. br>Because the display is white and has sharp letters, it stands out in a dark kitchen. Using the pot to fill the water reservoir is not a good idea - I've always worked with a two-digit number. I use a quart pitcher for all of my coffee makers, which makes it simple to fill this one. br>I inquired about Calphalon's water and coffee filter sizes, as they are not specified in their advertisements, paperwork, or website. They didn't respond to my email. It makes use of a four-cup coffee filter, as well as a small, non-absorbent filter. Water filter with curved charcoal. I purchase large quantities of them. The only thing I don't like about this coffee maker is that every time you make a pot, you have to select 'Bold. ' Unless you press the button each time, it defaults to'regular. 'br>I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone looking for a good coffee maker that does not drip onto the counter when you pour it.

I'm not sure if it's just because it's new, but the machine made such a lot of noise while brewing that I could hear it from two floors up. It was loud and made a spitting sound.

I have a Ninja that I enjoy using, but it only holds 12 cups and makes very little noise.
