A about the silocone quality, but it's the perfect size and the only brand I could find, so I bought it to put it to the test. This mold is 100% silicone is NOT 100% silicone is 100% silicone is 100%% It failed the "pinch test" (it bended to a whitish color) and has a slight "chemical" odor right out of the box before being washed.
I sprayed them with floured cooking spray as directed, and the tarts came out easily. However, they're so cute that I'd serve tarts straight from the molds. I put them in the top rack of the dishwasher to wash.
These were purchased with the intention of making tarts. When you're trying to put the crust in them, they're "bendy" because they're silicon. It's difficult; they're useful for other baking tasks, but fitting a pie crust into a pan isn't one of them.
In the Instant Pot, make a variety of sized quiches and frittatas. The combination of a muffin tin and a small mixing bowl worked out perfectly. Two eggs and vegetables fit perfectly in each of these. They cook up perfectly in the Instant Pot, and they're shallow enough that I can fit a few layers in the 6qt pot at a time. Also, if you're thinking about going the egg route, One of these would be ideal for making a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin or bagel. br>br>And the best part is that the cooked eggs fall out easily and without making a mess! (Eggs stick terribly to glass and require a lot of scrubbing. ) ) The colors are adorable, and the fabric is of excellent quality. I have plans to use these for a lot more than eggs. I'm glad I came across these and decided to buy them.
Because the seller's page is misleading, I gave it one star. I looked, I clicked, and I exited. I assumed I'd get the 12-pack that was advertised on the page. I didn't get the six pack, though. So either the price is for 6 or I was taken advantage of. I wanted to make a quick and painless purchase, but now I'm trying to figure out if the price is for six or if I received the wrong item. Because I am easily irritated by such things, I only gave it one star. The product, on the other hand, is a 20-star item! I'll never go back to metal or ceramic cups now that I've discovered silicone cups. Everything from frittatas to cheesecakes to shepherd's pie comes out spotless and holds its shape beautifully. These are fantastic! If only I had six more of them! br>br>.
I used 8 eggs for the 6 molds, but they came out a little thick, so I'll use 6 eggs next time. The egg tarts popped out easily after being sprayed with Pam, and cleanup was simple. I was able to bake all six molds in my toaster oven because they fit nicely on a 9x13 sheet pan. I liked them so much that I'm going to have to come up with some new recipes to use them in.
Air Fryer with a capacity of 6 quarts. These were bought to go with my Bella 2. Air fryer with a basket capacity of 6 quarts. They're absolutely wonderful. First and foremost, they are simple to clean and operate. I recently attempted to make an egg for an egg sandwich and failed miserably. I used only a few drops of Avocado oil in the tart mold and smeared it around with my finger to make it perfect. (An aside. ) I just used the rest of the oil on my finger to moisturize my hands. lol) I cracked an egg into the tart mold, separated the yolk, and swirled it around with a fork a little. I put it in my air fryer basket and cooked it at 325 degrees for just under 5 minutes. When the egg was 2 minutes old, I tossed a piece of whole wheat bread into the basket, resting on the basket's side. The toast was perfect when the egg was cooked through, and the egg was just the right size for the piece of toast. With that egg, the possibilities are endless: I could undercook the egg and toast by a minute, take it out, put the egg on the toast, and top it with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese. Return to the air fryer for another minute, or until the cheese has melted. Now you have a Ham And Cheese Egg On Toast, which is also great for making eggs for English Muffins. I can put Morning Star sausage links or patties in the basket with the egg and make a Sausage Egg Muffin for myself. I'm going to love how quick and easy it is to cook and clean.
A one-star rating is excessive. I'd give it a zero-star rating if I had the option. The image depicts a container with 12 molds. That's what I assumed I was ordering, and based on the evidence, it's a reasonable assumption to make. br>I received 6 molds in total. Looking back at my order, it does say 6 molds on the shown package (though it's small and difficult to see), but it also says 12 in the same container, which I ordered because I needed 12. br>This is deceptive, predatory, and a waste of my time; if it had been clear that there were only 6, I would have gone with a different seller who had clearly stated a 12 pack, for a higher price, because 12 was what I needed.
