You could use metal, but the finish is ceramic, and I believe it would deteriorate over time. Very well-made and long-lasting.

I made my first quiche with it last night, and it was delicious! The crust and filling were both cooked to perfection, and the pie came out of the pan without a hitch. I highly recommend this pan, especially if you're like me and can't fit any of your quiche recipes into your smaller pie pans without them overflowing. This pan solves the issue while also producing a high-quality pie! I recommend making a recipe plus half of your favorite crust to fill the pan to the brim. It's also available in a variety of beautiful color combinations. br>br> I chose the blue/yellow one because it matches the colors in my kitchen.
The issue is that they include a thank you card that instructs you to find them on Facebook and send them a message for one free item - There is no way to communicate with them, however. I did come across a few comments from customers who had had a similar experience. I'm not happy with myself for buying something from a shady company.
I've now made two dutch apple pies from scratch using this deep dish pie plate. They were the most delicious pies I had ever tasted. I've never had a pie hold together so well after being sliced up before. This is a fantastic pie plate.
This pie plate was purchased for a family I had never met but was assisting in the preparation of a Thanksgiving meal for them. I bought the pie plate and used it to make a pumpkin pie, which turned out to be very Autumnal. She was ecstatic and grateful for what she had received. It's a deep dish, and I think an apple pie would be better in it than a pumpkin pie. I made this dish with some of the leftover pumpkin filling from my pie filling. It's an exquisitely crafted pie plate.
To make a pouding chomeur, I needed a pie dish that was a little deeper and larger than a standard pyrex 9" - As the pouding rose, I needed the extra depth to keep the maple sauce from splashing over. This dish has been a great success for me - It has a great appearance, just the right amount of depth, and appears to be quite sturdy. It hasn't suffered any scratches or scrapes as a result of use. I'd buy another without a doubt.
"We don't own a pie tin, let alone a ceramic pie pan, so no - There will be no pie for you. "br>br>That has to be the worst thing my wife has ever said to me, but it's no longer the case!" I've got enough pie to last me for a week! It's a wonderful symbiotic relationship if ever there was one, because she makes it and I eat it. It's very simple to keep clean; all I have to do is lick it clean and put it back in the cupboard. It also makes a great gift; just make sure that the person you're giving it to enjoys pie.
This is very pretty, and I've already used it to make a key lime pie. It's a great deal for the money.
I'm excited to bake a pie for Thanksgiving because it's such a good deal!.
