The dish towels have been used without cooking spray several times without causing any harm. There is no problem coming out of anything.

Definitely use cupcake liners as due to their smaller size it is harder to remove them without them (I've been there done that) I think a cupcake ring would also work well.
I'd like to respond to the previous The shape of the metal matters more than whether it touches the edges of the microwave in some cases. Metal can sometimes be used in a microwave, depending on its shape. Microwaves do not have a metal ring (circular helps) so if you forget and leave your spoon or fork in a bowl, it may spark, which could damage your appliance. Be aware that I am nowhere near an expert enough to explain how to safely utilize it, but I wanted to point out that not touching the sides is not enough to ensure it is safe.

I've been waiting for this pan for a long time, and it's everything I hoped it would be! Upon popping out, the muffins stuck right to the bottom! I thought they were I cleaned the pan easily with soap and water, and it looks good as Even without using cooking spray, I was able to make it. There's just no way for me to put it into My favorite thing about it is how amazing it is. There's a lot of enthusiasm for what seems like a simple I know this is unreal, but it's so true. The new pans are amazing! I have used them several times and they are great! It turns out that the egg cups are not sticking and they are evenly shaped. There is no need for another metal pan underneath as they are sturdy enough. They are easy to clean as well. I highly recommend it.
Several of my Freshware silicone bakeware items are out of stock, and I'd been looking forward to getting their muffin pan that was consistent eventually tired of waiting for it to come back into stock and so looked for an alternative, which I ended up finding. I am very pleased with this muffin pan, and I am glad that Freshware was out of stock at the time because I wouldn't have come across this brand/pan. This is a very useful tool. I like the structure, and it's so much easier to put it in and take it out of the oven, and it's so much more lustrous than my other bakeware that it stays clean when my dishes stick to the sides slightly. Just made some gluten-free zucchini muffins and mini loaves and the muffins I used this tin for came out perfectly clean while the mini loaves from the freshware stuck to the sides despite trying to break them free with my fingers. In summary, after owning this muffin pan, I'm literally considering giving away all my other silicone bakeware and replacing it with Trudeau's products. This includes my oversized loaf pan, which bulges out on the sides when full. Make sure you check out the reviews for the company before making a purchase if you're like me and research a lot before buying anything. The Trudeau brand is a top quality brand you can trust, not the cheap knockoff crap you find on Amazon. If you've never heard of it before, like me, it's a brand you should check out.
The inner stiffeners on each handle side make it easy to pick up and transfer the product. When I baked these, I left some batter drips on the pan. The batter literally lifted off the pan as I baked it. Once the muffins have cooled in the pan on a rack, you can easily remove them by pushing up on the flexible bottom. It takes a little longer for cookies to cook when using these pans it takes a little longer for them to bake. Instead of using a fork design for peanut butter cookies, press the bottom of the cookie to fill the bottom. It takes a lot of peanut butter to make these deep dish cookies. What a great idea! A crustless quiche with eggs, turkey bacon, spinach, carrots, and spinach was my offering for breakfast. I wasn't able to stick any of them. However, I expected the larger cups as I have Trudeau's 12 cup version. The description confused me by making me believe that this pan was simply a six cup version of their Face filled with sadness.
