In the dishwasher, I wash mine, and although the shiny surface isn't there, they still remain non-slip Stick to it. There are some spots left on the surface after using it. Occasionally, I gently wash them by hand rather than using the dishwasher. They seem to last longer and look better, but I don't believe they will cause any problems during In the same manner, I have a silicone popcorn popping bowl for my microwave.
Neither it nor its coating are coated. Silica is used in the construction of the item. Although I still have to spray in oil to prevent food from sticking to it after cleaning, it's very easy to clean.
The muffins are approximately 4 oz in size, as they are the same size as the metal muffin tin I use
I did not smell anything coming from them.

I use them more than once a week. I do want to mention a few things. Under them, you must put a sheet pan instead of the pans themselves because they are too thin I wasn't bothered by it because I knew it ahead of time, but just something to take note of. Additionally, I have found muffins release better if the muffin pans are rinsed and soap isn't used too much. The small amount of oil and fat left on the sponges after they are rinsed seem to improve the release of the next round of sponges. It seems they look dried out after being put in the dishwasher but I've had to oil them before using.
OK, so a standard metal muffin tin holds half a cup in each cup. There are three spaces in the pan, each holding 1/3 cup. As a result, your cupcakes turn out wider and smaller than you would normally expect. I love this feature because you still get a full cupcake even if you're watching your portion. The bottom line is This pan makes six Jiffy corn muffins out of one box of corn muffins. If you want it to be stable, make sure you put it on a sheet pan, since silicone makes things.
However, I think it would be nice if they held their shape well enough to be put on cookie sheets rather than having to be. When I bake my protein/veggie egg muffins, I spray the cups with nonstick cooking spray and clean-up is This is a great.
For the first time, I used them this past weekend and they were fantastic! There was no need to grease them, and I didn't have to run a knife around them to remove them. Also, they cleaned up in the dishwasher without incident. It is definitely something I would recommend to any food prep person.
My first muffin pans. I'm very pleased with them. Rather than have to clean muffins, it is great to be able to pop them out easily.
I use these muffin pans all the time. The only thing I did not like about making egg muffins was my nonstick pan Metal pans always got stuck to me no matter how much Pam I sprayed on them. No matter how hard I try, they will not stick. The egg muffins are ready in just a few seconds after a quick spray. I didn't mind the fact that the bottom of the eggs didn't brown, but I dislike the fact that they didn't. I love these pans a lot. They're a little smaller than the metal ones, but for someone who watches portions the size is perfect. I have no complaints about them. My daughter got one of the pans from me because I love them so much I am delighted with my law and so is she. No matter how many old metal pans there were, they all ended up in the garbage.
Breakfast is so much easier when it is easy Grab a bag and head out! My kids and I were making egg-bacon bites in metal muffin tins In spite of all the grease I put on the pans (keep in mind the egg is surrounded by bacon), the bites would occasionally stick to the pan and the overturned yolk would stick to the pan and it was impossible to clean. The more I soaked it - the worse it got The pan landed in the trash and I threw it Amazon's silicone muffin pans are highly rated (I have never used them before) so I looked them up and tried them out. As if I had used a tin muffin pan, my egg-bacon bites came out without sticking as they baked through. I carried out my clean-up as easily as I did cooking! So that my friend didn't have to throw away her tin muffin pans because she enjoyed the egg-bacon bites when I brought them to work, I gave her the second pan.
I used silicone, but it was not good. A silicone pot takes longer to cook than a metal one because it does not conduct heat like metal. The use of a pan under the silicone for rigidity and to dissipate heat is also a good idea. Muffins at the center of the baking tray take longer to bake and cook less than muffins at the edge of the baking tray. Upon first use, I have no doubt that the product is of good quality. It was a given to me that you need a pan beneath for support, unlike some who are surprised to learn they need one. Though I love the concept of this, I am not so fond of the reality.
