It is a great sound meter and I am very pleased with it. Exactly what it was designed to do, measure sound levels accurately. A sound level calibration device like the Reed R8090 is very accurate if you want to be quite precise. Even after upgrading my R8060 meter to the R8090, I was still able to improve its accuracy. wish to be as accurate as possible, it is best to calibrate the sound meter each time you plan on using it, then check the calibration once you have taken.

It is well made for the price. The Reed calibrator is a fantastic set when used together.
The audio level meter is easy to grasp, easy to use, and seems to work well when I need to measure the volume of audio. In the event of background noise, the high/low lock feature will come in handy.
