It arrived well protected. To date, it has lived up to its claims. The two that I ordered are in addition to the two that I had ordered The display is bright and the temperature and voltage are displayed in different colors. As far as I can tell, the ones I had previously ordered have performed well and have held up well to constant use in a continuous 12 volt outlet. There seems to be no error in the voltage reading. As a result, the sensor appears to be highly sensitive and is continuously altering itself. This isn't a problem for me since I'm just interested in an average temp and it doesn't matter to me. It is a product I would recommend overall.
