The ruler has a flimsy feel to it. As a result, bending it will break it. It is not a good idea to travel with someone like that.

Is this something I'll be able to use in the near future?

A color-coded ruler is my preference. It's more difficult to read than other rulers, in my opinion. They're also a unique shape. very flat

These were delivered the next day and are in excellent condition. Some reviewers complained that theirs were broken, but mine aren't. They're adaptable and transparent, which I find to be a valuable feature. I bought two sets because they were so cheap. As a result, I now have two 12" rulers and two 6" rulers. I was able to obtain all four. br> When I looked at other rulers on Amazon, I noticed that the inches were printed on the lower half of the ruler and the numbers were upside down. That means you must place the ruler above whatever you are measuring in order to keep the numbers upright. The inch numbers are upside down and in reverse order if you turn the ruler to measure beneath the item you're measuring. That isn't how Americans usually refer to their rulers. I suppose it's a personal preference, but I don't like rulers that are labeled that way.

These are low-cost rulers that are made to appear more expensive than they are. They're made of a very thin plastic that doesn't feel very sturdy. Think of a poster. Rather than using foam, use a thicker board. the size of the board br>br>Right out of the box, they had blemishes on the plastic. br>br>However, in comparison to other rulers, the measurements appear to be accurate.
