Bases are poor quality, but the arm works fine

I ordered two mounts, but one fell off one day and the sticker basically fell off the other.

It is unusable

As a result, I had to return the base for improperly machined magnetic contact area. There was a belt sander used to "machine" the base. There was nothing flat or square about it. The magnet would rock the base back and forth when it was engaged, and it did not hold steadily. As for the articulating arm, it worked as it should. I believe that if it had been made correctly, it would have been a good product. Factory personnel did not appear to have carried out quality control or inspection.

I felt the production was a little sloppy and left me wanting more

It was very difficult to use, very sloppy and even floppy. It was very hard to set or adjust and was quite small. I was quite disappointed to discover that it was much smaller than I expected. I'm describing something that acts as a dial indicator for the door. That's really amazing! It should have a solid base rod as in the old days. Anodizing in red was the only difference I liked about it.

My application is a good fit for this size. This is a very good price for a product that can actually be used. The arm of the indicator holder is nice, and the magnetic base is decent.

The magnet is strong, it adjusts smoothly, and it has indicators. This would make a great base for a small vehicle.

I like it, but it is Despite its compact design, it is too weak and lacks a magnet for it to hold on to In order to keep it in place, you don't need to rely on only the magnet, especially when there is an indicator attached

I found that the unit worked fine, though it was much smaller and would not fit the dial indicator I was looking It is very easy to adjust and very solid when locked in place.
