Is the thread size of the indicator tip the same as the screw diameter?

I'm not sure what thread size it As soon as it arrived at my house, it was broken. It is a dial indicator I would not recommend buying. I returned it and received a refund.

It is impossible to use the magnetic base to its basic extent because it is too weak

Two of them are horrible, and I bought both of them. A piece of the magnetic base has already fallen off (front plate has come off) and the magnet is so weak that the measurement device will not stay Turning on the magnet makes it so weak that it can't even support its own weight. There is also a flimsy plastic bracket at the back of the dial, instead of a fixing on the collar (like a more conventional design). Apart from the fact that I wasn't able to mount this because of the weak magnetic base, I doubt I would have enjoyed using this.

There is no way the base or any other component could hold 110 pounds. The full description can be found here. Despite the fact that the magnet is not so strong, it does hold. A clock can be set up using the indicator. This case is a perfect example of what you get what you pay for, but I knew that before I started this purchase. I like having a case to prevent dust and oil from building up on it.

Be sure to think twice before you make your decision

Made in a way that was out of the ordinary. A metal rod rusted right away on my hands and was dented immediately due to the plastic's brittleness. I also received an indicator that was opposite and gave completely wrong readings.
