Questions & Answers

Do they have a thickness of 1/16 inch or 3/32 inch?

One sixteenth of an inch

What is the best way to do this on top of a radiator?

My belief is that this product is not a match for the application you mentioned. Tanks made of plastic that are not pressurized work really well with this product.

It appears that these flares can be lit by flame or by hand, but do they require a heated iron to be used? A kayak with a gouge or scrape would be filled. ?

It was easy to fix the hole in the RV water tank using an iron. The torch issue is unclear to me? In the internet, all kinds of information on repairing kayaks can be found, but none of it includes how to use

It would be great if I could get a clear piece of firm plastic to help hold up an If I use a 17" piece of it, how firm will they be? It measures 17" x 36" and is not very ?

A plastic welding rod is used for these. Weight should not be placed on them as they are flexible

I am very pleased with the outcome! I was able to use an iron to make these

In addition to the cooling holes that filled the Yeti 350 tundra cooler, I also built a bbq grill. filled the holes with spray foam, welded the holes with these strips and then covered the holes with spray foam. As hard as the cooler itself, it sealed the holes and hardened up without issues. The pieces were taken from about four pieces to cover each 1 inch hole of the cooler (4 holes drilled into it) and the piece was built up then sanded.

The program worked perfectly, just took a little while for me to get used to

An air welding machine was used. The program worked perfectly, just took a little while for me to get used to. An air welding machine was used. I don't have anything else to add except to suggest you watch the videos on YouTube. The learning curve is pretty low.

An insufficient description has been provided
3/5

A polyethylene flat stick (LDPE) 3/8" X 1/16" is described as "5 Ft" in the product description. But they will need to be 3/8" X 1/16" X 12".

My experience was that it was easy to melt and did not In a RV there was a very small leak in the fresh water tank
3/5

There was no way to stop the leak with this product.
Instead of using plastic epoxy, we used plastic glue.
