As described, the item appears to be in most respects. Despite the fact that it came in 1/8 inch short of the 12 inch mark, I do not know when it was produced. You might not notice it, but might ruin your application for someone else who needs it to be just 1/8 longer. Identifying labels on things would be nice if they could easily be removed by sellers. There are many people who don't expect to receive 1 of something. Without a label it's just a round rod of plastic. However, I would buy again if there were no problems.

It looks good to me I am happy 1/8" is not an issue A square and even edge is cut at the ends.
