There has been a shift in zinc prices

There is no copper stub on the contact. In order to get insights regarding new zincs without copper "stubs," we attempted to call the company I work for. The anode is assumed to be protected better or with better solid anode surface contact. The copper stub can be found in all old zincs I've noticed. There is no such thing in these Amazon zincs. The comparison can be found in the image. This is curious. Monitor the performance of all anodes throughout the life of the device and adjust the rating.

It can be mounted directly to the transom if it is of sufficient size

My rating for easy to install is 4 stars because although easy to install, the kit came bolted together and I was unable to separate the pieces

I mounted mine on the transom to protect the bare aluminum hull of my old 1950s boat.

In this item, there are two pieces stitched To use 1/2 of them on each trim tab, I separated them. The only hardware it comes with is for one device. Using my existing bolt for the second half was all that I needed.
