Each spring measures about one-inch in length. Within a few hours, I was contacted by the seller, which was a five-piece process. I find it very deceptive to describe it this way.

Box of only one spring in the box! My interest in smart materials properties started while I was studying a research paper on shape memory alloy alloys

The package consisted of 5 springs, but I came home with only one spring even though the package states on its packaging that there will be 5. It was not advertised as such. As a result of this misunderstanding, I am deeply disappointed with the seller and Amazon.

It is not difficult to prove Nitinol's properties

The performer is good for demonstration purposes. However, Nitinol by itself does not exhibit quite the level of force normally applied in space, which could contribute to some very interesting results.
