It isn't braided in any way. It has a good foundation.
This wire is used to ground my above-ground pool, which has passed inspection, as well as my Ham radio station. This isn't a problem; it's exactly what's needed.
It will hold up to a point because it is solid copper and not as flimsy as braided copper, for example. After that, like any other metal, its weight will overcome its rigidity.
It hasn't corroded while I've been using it outside, and you can get it with a cover if you want.

A ridiculously long piece of wire for a ridiculously low price per food. Option (c) was my choice. The best option was to go home and order online; the Cerrowire 8 gauge wire is of excellent quality: - Strong and 8 gauge in diameter, but bendable enough for routing into junction boxes and other applications. I found exactly what I needed. I was able to obtain the wire in a length that met my requirements for a reasonable price per foot. If you need 8 gauge ground wire, this is an excellent product at an affordable price.
It was a little tricky to bend, but I like how the wire thickness looks on the bottle, so it was worth it.
This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. to ever find a lame bare solid Copper Wire Ring Terminal Connectors are a type of connector that is used to connect two or more terminals together. I started with what should have been a good investment. 6 AWG Ring Terminal Connectors would have been a compatible Ring Terminal Connectors for this particular 6 AWG Copper Wire. Surprisingly, a large number of people attended. I ordered 8 AWG Ring Terminals in the hopes that the smaller Ring Terminals would fit snugly and securely on this 6 AWG Copper Wire. WRONG! This Gauge Copper Wire does not work for this Gauge Copper Wire! Still, it's too big. . . Finally, in the hopes of a perfect fit, I ordered 10 AWG Ring Terminals for this 6 AWG Copper Wire. When I got the ten AWG Ring Terminals, I was really excited. When I tried to slid this 6 AWG Copper Wire into one of the 10 AWG Ring Terminals, it turned out to be another total failure on my part. my end with this 6 AWG Copper Wire that I've been looking for for a long time Because the 10 AWG Ring Terminals were just a tad too small to fit the 6 AWG Copper Wire into, I needed to find a proper Ring Terminal. Urghh! Finally, I had to decide whether to use a 5/32 Drill bit to slightly drill out some of the metal on the latest now too small 10 AWG Ring Terminals in order to create an odd but compatible Ring Terminal size that would snugly fit. do the job for with the now ridiculous 6 AWG Copper Wire required for an inline Coaxial Lightning Arrestor, which is required by law Should only be grounded with 6 AWG Solid Copper Wire, such as this one, for which I wrote a review. Now, as lame as it sounds, As repulsive as it may appear based on my personal experience From a practical standpoint, this 6 Gauge Copper Wire will not fit or work with any 6, 8, or even 10 AWG Ring Terminals, but will only fit into a Man-Made Terminal. A slightly drilled out 10 AWG Ring Terminal was used to make a 9 AWG Ring Terminal. This is due to the fact that a 9 AWG Ring Terminal does not exist on the market. I spent almost $26 on this purchase. 00 on various AWG Ring Terminals of various sizes in the search for Try one of the three sizes of Ring Terminals available. work on this copper wire with a diameter of 6 AWG I still couldn't get a 9 AWG Ring Terminal to work until I made one out of a slightly drilled out 10 AWG Ring Terminal!.
