Questions & Answers
The length is 12 inches.
Yes.
Yes, it's conductive, and I've used it to make replacement soldering gun tips for my Harbor Freight 180-watt soldering iron. Although it is not as conductive as pure copper, I required something with some resistance.
It was a poor investment, as it was far too flimsy.

Soldering tips with two holes are included with the Harbor Freight 180 watt soldering gun. Shanks with a diameter of 5mm. These 3/32 brass rods are only a fraction of the diameter of the 2. The supplied tips' shanks are 5mm. 12mm. The ends of the 3/32 brass rod are easily grasped by the soldering gun's clasps. Because I didn't have any copper rod on hand, I began using brass instead of copper. However, I discovered that the brass tins work just as well as copper with both lead and silver solders, and unlike copper tips, it does not appear to soften when exposed to the high heat produced by the soldering gun if you are willing to pay for it. A few hammer blows to the front of the tip will result in a nice flat spot. I made my tips out of a six-inch length of brass rod, which yielded about two tips.
I'm relieved that the item arrived and was not canceled due to a lack of availability. When an item is shown as being in stock, it means that it is available for immediate purchase.
It's good and it's not too expensive.
It worked perfectly for my project, and I plan to purchase it again in the future.
A solid brass rod doesn't require much explanation. It was the right size. It was a simple sentence. It cut like brass is supposed to cut.
It was in perfect condition. No . Brass is the material. It was in perfect condition. There aren't any moving parts that can break down.
