Does it have a magnetic field?

Magnetic fields are not present in it.

An example of one would be What kind of brass is 032 thick? Is it stiff or I am making small box handles out of D ring cleats. Are you saying that you would like a stiff cleat?

The material is fairly stiff over short lengths (a couple of inches). The only way to make it bend sharply is to put it in a vise next to a hammer and bend it there.

Exactly what I was looking for to cover the back of my pull out trash can, since my husband likes to knock things against it. Provides a good level of protection for the wood. All it took was a couple of holes and brass screws and it was done! A tiny bit of sharpness was evident at the edges, so I used my Dremel to get rid of it.
