It's smith, so it's easy to polish.br>I even ripped it in half and polished it after cutting it, and it came out clean and shiny. br>With a hacksaw, I cut the 1/4" thickness into two 1/8" plates, smithed it out with a file, and polished it down with files and steel wool all the way to 16000 grit polish paper, then buffing compound down to a leather strip. It was as if you were a part of it.

I couldn't find any bushing washers in the exact size I needed for a reasonable price on the internet. I bought a brass stock and made my own 1-inch cylinder. 1/4" thick with a 5/8" x 1/2" center hole. The brass stock is very strong and polishes up nicely, so I sanded and polished it to a brilliant shine. Because of the low cost of the Brass stock and the fact that I did it myself, I was able to save a lot of money. SUPER QUICK DELIVERY. This supplier is AAA d, and I would recommend and use them again.
I weld on it all the time because it disperses heat well and causes minimal damage when used instead of ceramic.

I needed cold malleable brass, but it just chips and breaks when hammered.
