It is ideal for use at home

flour that has been milled. I tried a few other sieves, but it appears that there is no universally accepted definition of 20cm/8". They don't fit on any of my bowls, so this, along with one of their matching sieves, ensures that I don't get flour all over the place while sifting out bran. It's a little on the pricey side for what it is, but it works well.

It's the perfect size for Adamas- System for sieving beta particles. I've discovered that having multiple pan and lid units gives me a lot of flexibility when it comes to optimizing sieving schemes for determining particle size histograms on a variety of sample types. The surface is extremely durable and chemically and corrosion resistant, making it simple to clean and ensuring consistent tarring.

It performs admirably and is of high quality

Small sample sizes are easily processed with this method. I use it to make soil. The only drawback is that the lid and sieves (both from the same company) do not nest securely in the base pan, necessitating extra caution to prevent sample loss and dust.
