Questions & Answers

Is it OK to sift food with them?

They're made of stainless steel and brass, so I'm guessing they're as safe as any other metal utensil. Water pipe fittings are made of the same materials, so I'm guessing they're good to go! This is a good product. Particles larger than a tenth of a millimeter can pass through the 120 mesh size.

SIEVE OF EXCELLENT QUALITY

The materials and construction are of excellent quality. My application is not the same as an archaeologist's, but it met my needs and exceeded my expectations. If I had to change anything about the sieve's design, it would be to increase the diameter and depth. These sieves are excellent in terms of durability and quality.
