These blades are sharper than Xacto and less brittle, so I started using them after Marcus Nicholls recommended them. They have a flat handle that won't roll off your bench and stab you in the nuts, and they last at least four times as long as Xacto.
These blades appear to be as durable as others I've used in the past. In a Veritas handle, I mostly use them for wood carving and other small hobby work. They can also be used in a small NiteCore keychain folding knife, but they develop surface rust quickly in this application, so if you plan to pocket carry one, I recommend lightly coating it with oil and inspecting it frequently.
They are not individually wrapped, but come in ten-packs that are sealed. I simply keep them out of harm's way in a small plastic box.
The blades are extremely sharp and of high quality. They were packaged in a way that I didn't like. Each foil wrapper contained five blades, each of which was individually wrapped in paper. It's difficult to attach them to the handles, and if you don't use all five, you'll end up with loose blades.
Exceptionally well-crafted. I was looking for something to assist me with detail cutting, and this was exactly what I needed.
For hobbies, this is fantastic.
Transplanting clones is simple and painless.
