It's difficult to beat the price of 200 blades and two handles. For a 22-inch blade, it's a little too big. I'm not going to switch from my regular brand to these, but if backordering becomes an issue, I'll buy them again. The cutting edge is less flat and more round than I'm used to, and it dulls medium quickly. It is used in taxidermy.

Definitely not fit for surgery

They're fine for hobby projects, even though they're not surgical grade scalpels. The blades are sharp, but not as sharp as those found on real scalpels. The handles are rough ground and not polished in the least, and the blades were a little difficult to get on. As a result, make sure you have a small pair of pliers on hand to secure them. They're suitable for general hobby use in general.
