TA Spring Advanced Esthetics, where I work, also teaches dermaplaning. For a short time, I purchased blades from Dermaplane Pro until I was able to locate the distributor, Southmedic, which is based in Canada. They've stopped selling directly to Americans and will only sell to Dermaplane Pro, which has ridiculously high prices. However, because I already had an account with southmedic, I was grandfathered in and can order blades for my students. For 50 blades, the price is just under a hundred dollars. Now, for a hundred blades, I found this for just under a hundred dollars. The 10r is a little shorter, which makes it ideal for getting under the brow and around the corners of the nose. If necessary, I dermaplane the entire face, including the nose, neck, and ears. If you're new to dermaplaning or dermaplaning these areas, this blade will make it easier for you to do so with less risk of nicking. The tip is rounder than the Southmedic blade, so this is now my go-to blade. to the blade of your choice.
As an aesthetician, I use these for dermaplaning on my clients' faces. These are by far the best blades I've ever used, and I especially like the round tip.
You won't be nicking your client because they never skip or stutter. Because the blade is fine and sharp, you won't have to go over the same area repeatedly to remove hair and dead skin. When removing the blade from the tool, the rounded tip also assists in preventing injuries. Buy them!.
I've used disposable blades that lasted longer than these, so I'd only buy them as a last resort.
Dermablading treatments are ideal for this product. Client and aesthetician are both safer as a result of this.
I spent a lot of money looking for great blades, and these are by far the best.
I love my blades; they're just as good, if not better, than the ones I used to buy for half the price and with more blades from another retailer.
It's not quite as good as another brand I've tried, but it's not bad either. The blade isn't as sharp as the one I'm used to. Robbin is my preferred brand.
