As surprising as it may seem, I managed to fit a lot of stuff inside both pockets. If you do not have any bulky items in your bag at the same time, I can fit a water bottle along with my Samsung Galaxy S8 active, which is bulky, as well as some medication bottles, nasal spray, chapstick and other things. It is essential to have extra storage after extensive surgery for someone who is recovering. As someone who does not wear a lot of clothes with pockets while recovering, this has been so helpful (because it makes you feel a little more independent when you can carry things). Likewise, I have used it on a Walker and it is just as effective. The bag has more than enough straps (3 velcro loops) and then it has four more straps to go around the side for extra support (there are no inadequacies). This is a great product.
