I'm looking for replacement casters, and I'm not sure what specs to look for. The hair wraps around itself and refuses to roll. I tried soaking them in bleach, but it didn't work. ?

I'm not sure where casters are available. Tweezers were my tools of choice. To cut the hair, use a small pointed scissors.

What is the Base's measurement?

To the center of the pole, each leg is 11 12" long. The distance across to clear walls, dressers, and other items is 23" because there are five legs. This pole is a lot more durable than the one we got for free from the infusion company, but it makes a lot of noise when you roll it around.

What is the maximum amount of weight that this device can carry at one time?

I wouldn't put a lot of weight on it because there's a screw in the middle of the support bar that can slide the upper bar if you push down hard enough. When I was caring for my mother in a hospital bed, I used it to store her oxygen tubes. The base is very sturdy and rolls easily.br>It's good for a few things, but that's all it's meant for.

The foundation of the design is flawed

The foundation of the design is flawed. During assembly, the plastic pole holder separated, allowing the pole to fall through the base. br> The plastic part, as designed, would never secure the pole to the base. br> The wrench that came with the package did not fit the bolt that came with the package. This unit is not something I would recommend.

This iv pole's plastic bottom bracket broke, so I contacted Mabis for assistance. They refused to provide any product support because we bought it from Amazon, which was disappointing.

It takes a long time to put together

Putting it together was extremely difficult. If you can put it together, it's a good product. Assembly is difficult due to the poor quality of the fasteners. I would not purchase this item again.
