Yes, it's very sturdy, and that's what I'm using it for. I shortened each leg a little because the base diameter was a little too large to move around in my house. It remains sturdy even after that.

Within a week, the top of the unit cracked

The stand's metal section is far more durable than my previous pole. However, after only a week of use, the plastic top cracked. During that time, it has only had one bag of formula hanging on it, and I have been gentle with it. Given the price, I had hoped that the plastic piece would last much longer than a week.
