Hello there, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about Drive Medical. The height of this IV pole can be adjusted from 40" to 60". 82".
It's what I use to keep a 1 in place. My wife is bedridden, so I need a 5-gallon hair-washing container. When filled with water, I estimate the container to weigh around 10 pounds. It's been three years since I bought it, and it hasn't slipped (collapsed). I hope this has been of assistance.
There are no locking wheels on it.

What a fantastic purchase, and I'm glad I went ahead and made the purchase! I knew I needed an IV pole, but I didn't want to spend too much money on one--and this is it. My cat requires fluids on a daily basis, and when I try to administer them, he jumps from room to room. I can easily transport this to follow him because it rolls smoothly and is very stable. Legs are wide enough to be well grounded but not too wide to be distracting, and they have a downward curve for stability. Between fluid administrations, I don't have to hang the bag on the curtain rod or roll up the tubing. Because the bag is gravity fed and hangs straight, the flow is better than ever and works more quickly and efficiently. Adjustable height provides me with even more options; I simply set the desired height, twist, and it stays in place. This makes me very happy! It has made my life so much easier because it is sturdy, well-made, and simple to put together. Securely packaged and delivered in a flash- In less than two days, it arrived!.
This is due to the fact that the device's primary function is to hold IV bags for patients. It's extremely portable because it's on wheels. The bottom base, pole, and hooks at the top are all extremely durable. In addition, the height can be adjusted between 47 and 57 inches. from 82-inches As a result, it will most likely work for any medical-related job that is required. br>br>However, it was for my Dremel tool that I required this. Yes, you read that correctly: I'm using a medical IV pole as a power tool. What makes you think I'd do something like this? When using the Dremel tool with the Flex Shaft attachment, the tool must be suspended from something. The majority of people would use theirs at home and would not require portability. Because I want to be able to use my Dremel almost anywhere, I decided on a medical IV pole on wheels. br>br>Having the ability to adjust the height of the pole also allows me to easily adjust the height I require for the workspace I'm using. This IV pole can handle a lot of weight, which impresses me, and it can also handle the 2-pound weight limit. pounds from the tool with no problems at all. This portable IV pole, in my opinion, is the best Dremel tool accessory. This unit is a 5 out of 5 star recommendation from me!.
My cat required fluids on a daily basis, so I purchased this. I wanted to give her fluids where she felt most at ease, which was on the couch in the living room. It's described as an economy model, but I can't think of anything wrong with it. It's sturdy, the height can be adjusted, and it's exactly what I'm looking for.
" I've had to use the worst pitch in the world for the past three years. " It is an IV pole that does not appear to move properly on a hard floor or a carpet. After countless trips and tangles with my tubing around the pole, I was relieved to finally find one that was both better and more affordable. br>Unfortunately, when my package arrived, I opened it to set it up and found only the pole inside. There are no wheels or a base, and the ram's horn is missing. Thankfully, my next infusion was a few weeks away. I contacted Amazon, who took care of the return and sent me a replacement. br>The second package arrived yesterday, and I was disappointed once more when I opened it today. You can see the photos I've included, but it appears that they sent me a used iv pole. The box had been thrashed, the previous labels had been ripped off, one of the legs had been scratched/marked, and the rubber tip on the ram's horn appeared to have been chewed. The instruction book had been thrashed, and some of the plastic bags containing the screws had already been opened. I didn't pay for a used pole, and sending one from someone's home during a pandemic is especially risky. Finally, the item shown in the photo is not the same as what you will receive. The pole appears to be in the center of the base in the picture they show you, but it's off center in the picture I uploaded, and I believe this is why it tips when you move it. To keep the pole steady, I had to pull it down lower. Also, the wheels are labeled as rubber, but they don't feel completely rubbery. On carpet, it moves better, but not as well as I believe it should based on their description. br>My infusion is coming up soon, so I won't be able to respond, but I'm not happy. They have poor quality control, as I continue to read more reviews from people who are experiencing the same issues that I was previously unaware of.
This adjustable IV pole has pleased me, and I believe it is a good value for the money. It had two hooks on which to hang bags, but we only used one gravity bag at a time, which was about halfway full, or 600mL. When fully extended with only one bag on hook, it never leans over, so it balances well even with only one hook. It's easy to put together, and it only takes a few minutes to get it up and running. br>br>Easy to adjust; simply turn the middle part and it moves up and down easily. It has a length of more than 80 inches, which was ideal for our needs of gravity feeding my son through an NG tube. The only problem I had was that the bottom screw, which held the two arms with the wheels together, needed to be tightened frequently, which affected the pole and made it wobbly when loosened. Perhaps it was because my 11-year-old son would wheel around with some of his body weight on his arms, but it still needed to be tightened once every few days even before he started doing that. Fortunately, I had the little "wrench" that came with the kit, and it tightened up quickly with just a few turns. br>br>Overall, I'd say this is a good value for the money; it lasted the few months we needed it and performed admirably, and it still has a lot of life left in it. That's a good deal to me at under $30.
