Capacities of this cuff were not calibrated. Despite attempts to return to zero, the needle remained at a distance from I was disappointed to receive a defective product after reading many reviews and searching the internet for a high-quality home blood pressure monitor. As a student of medicine, I wanted something to keep at home regardless of where I am and I know the importance of accurate calibration. It seems I will need to purchase a more expensive cuff from my hospital pharmacy soon to ensure that I have a safe and reliable device.
Would have gladly purchased on Amazon, but can't seem to find a decent one.

My reason for buying this was because of the good reviews and things I heard about it. Upon receiving it, I wasn't too happy as the gauge was around 5 and did not match the numbers. In light of the fact that it was not calibrated properly, I am not convinced that this product can provide multiple calibrations. As a consequence, the readings for this instrument are high, but overall I do not find it impressive. My inquiry to MDF went unanswered even when I contacted them directly, they never got back to me regarding their products or product problems. I don't trust their guarantee of lifetime parts if they won't answer my questions or concerns.

It is not calibrated to zero in this type of pressure cuff. WHICH DID NOT GIVE AN ACCURACY READ. It was shipped in an envelope that did not protect it, the soft box it came in was inside a simple mailing envelope with no protection to protect it from damage, the box was crushed. ordered this item twice and both times it was misrepresented and the boxes were crushed and the calibration was wrong on both orders. DOUBT WAS GIVEN THE ITEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT AND I TESTED IT IT IS NOT A GOOD PRODUCT AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. I would not recommend this product.

Unless the arrow on the manometer returns to zero, it is not trustworthy to read the readout. After using the software for a few times, it happened. Where can I find star ratings? that the problem is larger, maybe other customers do not pay attention to the issue. Error indications from medical devices are not just a mere inconvenience some even have a negative impact on health.

Everything about this product is well made from the tight stitching to the valve that releases pressure at a nice steady rate. It's a quality product that I like, and I like the indicator on the cuff that indicates where the brachial artery should be. It is possible to hang the gauge on the cuff so you are easily able to see it during This is something I would recommend To go with this, I also purchased a Littmann 3M Classic III scope.

The pressure is accurate, but make sure you know your cuff size. I purchased this to self monitor my blood pressure because digital units in the past have reported it Here is a photo of my first manual sphygmomanometer. The current Sphygmomanometer used by physicians is accurate and put up against a recent one in the office. Its measurements were nearly identical to the measurements taken by the physicians unit. br>
We advise you to carefully read the cuff size specifications and to measure the circumference of your arm before You're inside 2 if you're reading this. You should be aware of this minor difficulty if you must use multiple cuff sizes. A star was taken off as the process of changing cuffs can be cumbersome. Perhaps some type of "quick-change" system could have been included There is a minor issue with the connection Considering the tight tube connections, it is an "important feature" for security (so tubes don't fly off without support), however, I wish there was an easier way to disconnect/reconnect. I worry that this tubing may stretch and weaken over time if worn repeatedly. There is still time to find out.

The calibra pro and calibra were both purchased by me. The company advertises that calibra pro is a state of the art unit, which is tested many times before shipping, so I'm not able to believe reviews that calibra pro is better calibrated than calibra. Even though I have both in hand I cannot find much difference in the calibra pro as shown in the image however, the reason for giving two stars is that the calibra pro was awfully calibrated. I am stuck with the product since the return window from Amazon has closed and I brought it to Mexico. I hope I can hear from the company how to calibrate myself since it will be more expensive to return the product to Amazon. Reviews swayed my decision, and I should have bought two calibras, instead of the professional model.

Despite being a manual monitor, this is an excellent product. During my shift at the hospital, I use this program. I use it to measure the blood pressure of all my patients and I only have to take the reading once for a valid Ahead of schedule, it arrived. I was very pleased with the packaging and the quality of the product. Your help is much appreciated,.
