What happens is that when the velcro wears off, it tears. The problem is that it doesn't work.
Nurses are required to calibrate their blood pressure cuffs twice a year as part of our job duties. Besides that, it comes with a small key that needs to be adjusted to make sure it starts at zero.

They're pretty durable too. Over metal D-s, these are the ones I'd choose It sounds like a ring. The cuff measures blood pressure well and does the job. EMTs use these a lot since they're the ones our ambulances are stocked with. They're pretty durable too. You should use ones without rings so that the patient is not injured. People who are older and more sensitive to pain are most likely to benefit most from this treatment.
It is very affordable for such a good quality product! I'm a nursing student, so budgeting is a priority for me. As part of this sphygmomanometer, you will receive a case in which the meter can be kept and a key that will allow the meter to be recalibrated if ever required. The quality was even better than the product purchased at a drug store for 25 dollars and the blood pressure was even more accurate than that product. Though at first I was worried about the elastic cuff, it proved to hold up really well when blown up around the arm and does not show any sign that it will stretch out in future.
There is no truth in this statement. As a nurse, I bought this device in order to have more accurate readings of my blood pressure. Compared with normal readings, the diostolic is 40 pts higher and the systolic is about 30 pts higher. I would be in the ER believing I was going to have a heart attack if I were not a physician. Having compared it with 3 others, I took it to work to be sure. Despite the fact that I have one day left in my 30-day return period, I may have received a broken one. That was a huge waste of time and effort.
It also seems like a good idea to me. Although it is accurate and able to withstand a beating as I carry it in my backpack, so far it has performed well.
This was my first day working in a clinic, so I brought it along and was shocked to learn it reads about 30 mmHg higher than normal. The sensor has consistently failed to measure against reliable cuffs, which I have tested several times. Such an instrument cannot be used in the medical field.
I bought it for nursing school and it works very well. As of today it has lasted for four months, which is quite good for the price, and I use it occasionally to check my blood pressure. Since I passed my vitals test, I don't use it much anymore but I have used it at least once before. The BP cuff should definitely be recommended to students who need at least a cheap one.
Our hearts are both affected by hypertension, so we need to take our blood pressure several times a day and present the results to our doctors. As a result, I am extremely disappointed that this otherwise great cuff does not get a "D-" You can wear the ring yourself in order to avoid having to ask someone! There is no way to get a tight, straight fit on your upper arm when the cuff moves around and doesn't stay in place. Keep in mind that you can only use ONE hand to work with when you are It is just a matter of pulling the velcro on the ring and placing it. People who do not have the constant assistance of another person will not benefit from using this model. It's important to remember that your doctor prescribes medication based on the figures you provide him from your home blood pressure log. It is nothing to play with, the wrong numbers will cause the wrong medication to be prescribed. This cuff does not suit me at all. That's not what I meant, I just didn't notice it was missing a.
I really like this product and it works perfectly.
