I started with a reading that was off by a few mmhg, so my instructor looked at it, suggested I try another - well that one gave me That one I received might not have been calibrated correctly or was defective!.

I bought this for my Mom (who is retired RN nurse) since she prefers this style and she finds it very accurate. Also, sometimes she was taking reads between the two, but it is known that auto is a little higher as a result of a doctor or nurse knowing this. I especially like this cuff because it's better suited for girls or women with smaller arms like me. As I am my mother's patient after I was discharged after surgery, she likes my personality.
