By taking my own blood pressure, I am able to easily monitor my health. It is easy to hear my heartbeat using a stethoscope because it is crisp, clear, and easy to discern. I have had good quality portable monitors for several years and they agree within a few inches of Hg. In spite of repeated attempts to hear my wife's heartbeat, I am barely able to hear her and thus cannot check her blood pressure. Let's try it. Considering this to be a very serious problem, I talked to her doctor about it, According to him, some people are hard to read because of the location of the arteries in the body, the strength of the contractions, and other factors. After that, he measured her blood pressure using medical grade equipment, and he found something completely different than what his nurse told him a few minutes earlier. Although I think this equipment is very high quality and easy to use, you must keep in mind that some subjects may have a difficult time getting reliable results.

I expected a bit more for the price. The stethoscope does not sit comfortably in the ears even with a multiple end. My heart beat is so strong that I could barely hear it with this device. The description of the BP cuff states "The manual blood pressure cuff is equipped with an extended universal blood pressure cuff. ". This is not an extended version. It is considered my average biceps size because I do not work out. I couldn't wrap my arm with this cuff because it couldn't stretch far enough. For a smaller person, it probably won't be a problem. It will make a good emergency kit for me, but this is not a good gift for anyone in the medical field.

They are very nice from the price. The cuff is a good size for people whose wrists are small to medium in size. But they will not fit people who are taller or larger in size. With the stethoscope I already have that cost more money, I can hear the pressure on the BP much better than when using the stethoscope I already own. As it turned out I did not need this item after all, I ended up returning My favorite of these items is definitely the bundle if I ever need all of them again.

My favorite part of this kit is all the stuff it came with. In addition, I am happy with the price. It would have been nice if the blood pressure cuff had held up There were some stitching issues on mine, especially on the Velcro. I am well aware that if I don't handle it with care, it will fall off completely if I forget to do so. The price you pay is the price you get. It is too bad it happened outside of the return period, now I have no way out. So I guess it was a lesson learned. It will remain in use until I no longer need it, then I will shell out the money for a more expensive one that will last.
